I should have turned away when I walked in the bar was empty but dirty I asked for drink and the cup was dirty. I ordered my food and waited about 20 mins only for it not to come out hot or pleasurable. My utensils were dirty. My sisters food wasn’t hot. My boneless wings were undone and the gringo was chunky. I ask for a manager to correct it but was told if she remade it will still be chunky im thinking thats weird because every other time I have been here it’s never been chunky. I just had the ick. Never had such a bad experience here. I like to come in between the hours 9 – closing to relax but if we have to get mediocre food because it almost closing time then just close. I just wanted to get drinks and chill with my sistet for my birthday but I was not satisfied at all.

usually love their food but lately i’ve been disappointed. my family and I door dashed our dinner and I got boneless buffalo wings. The wings were extremely dry looked to be cut up so randomly and looked nothing like the photo. it even came with a mysterious chunk covered in sauce which was definitely not chicken.

I recently visited 54th Street Grill after not having been there for a couple of years, and I was impressed by the updates! The booths have been refreshed, adding to the overall comfort of the dining experience.
I ordered the Waffle Fries with Gringo Dip and Tequila Wrappers, and everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were just as good as I remembered.
Our server, Jacob, really stood out. He was patient, knowledgeable about the menu, and very friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and brought items back promptly, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered a chicken fajita salad ToGo and the kitchen forgot the chicken. We didn’t noticed to we were about to eat, went back and asked nicely for them to correct the order. The bartender was nice enough to offer me a drink. The manager brought me back the same salad with a sliced chicken breast placed on the now soggy salad.

Every single time I crave 54th street it’s because of their BBQ beans and sweet potato fries. They’re amazing. However, every SINGLE TIME I go, my steak isn’t cooked right. I loved the flat-iron sirloin when i was younger. Started going again and i cannot get it done right. Switched to the filet. figured if i pay more for better quality it will come out right, correct? HAHAHHAA. my filet comes out overcooked or raw everytime. These cooks do not know what they are doing. And the manager just throws a new steak in front of you and doesn’t even wait to see if your re-cook is done correctly. Which surprise, IT’S NOT! Always horrible experience. Will just switch to Texas Roadhouse. Takes an hour for you to play steak switcharoo and then you still have to pay full price even after your dining experience is constantly ruined again and again. I learned my lesson with this place.

My husband and I have been here a handful of times, each time we joined the wait-list online and were seated quickly. The service was well with friendly staff, although we did have a waitress who hung out with a table, who seemed like personal friends or regulars, much more than the other tables she had.
We’ve ordered the queso before, which was good, but at a $10 price, it could’ve came with more chips. We both tried one cocktail each which tasted great and we both agreed we didn’t feel any type of buzz after drinking them. My husband had a steak dish and I had the chicken friend chicken. We’ve also previously ordered country fried steak and the carne asada tacos. My rice that came with the tacos order was similar to 3 day left over rice, dry and crumbly, the dish was light enough that I didn’t feel stuffed by the end of the meal. I did ask for another, more fresh service of rice and it seemed as if the served me from the same container of rice, but they steamed and heated it up. All the other dishes we ordered were very large in portion size, enough for left overs. We’ve also had their cheese cake which was surprisingly a very large (tall) serving with strawberries.
I personally feel that this place is a more local and upscale version of a Chilli’s. I appreciate that they have deal menus for 2 with multiple “tier” options ranging from $39 to $52. Great atmosphere with a good food selection. There is a Bar and multiple TVs playing sports games throughout the space with memorabilia all over the walls.

I ordered online for the curbside pickup. Our order was on time and the server was very friendly. After opening up our bag, it had everything! Utensils on top with a napkin 😉 my tacos were fantastic and I would definitely order them again! They came with 2 sides, rice and beans.
The prime rib sandwich was wonderful and the bread was soft and flavorful. We also had the potato soup or was hot and delicious!
The gringo dip was as good as we remembered. Cheesy, hot, and yumminess.
They offer a select menu of To-Go Cocktails. I had the margaritas and it was the perfect size for my taco platter.
If you have one nearby, it’s worth the stop.

Overall good experience
We arrive for an early dinner on a Saturday at 340pm only had to wait a few minutes bc we asked for a booth & it was shift change. We have been other times at traditional dinner time on a Saturday & waited for up to an hr.
Other than the Calamari the food was really good. Husband had blackened ribeye I had fried shrimp. Both were very good properly prepared nice flavor. Salads were good as were our other sides.
Calamari appetizer on thervother hand, was extremely rubbery even though it didn’t look overcooked in appearance. Would Not recommend.
Waitress was pleasant & efficient (prior to entree delivery). We did have to flag her down several minutes after our meal was delivered (she did not deliver the meal) to get help but she took care of things promptly once she did come over.

Food was good, but the manager is a joke. Insanely unprofessional. I got a coffee.. and it was a terrible Starbucks kcup. I took two drinks and left it alone. The server said she would take it off and have the manager come talk to me. Wasn’t sure why I needed to talk to him but that’s fine. Someone came by checking on each table.. didn’t say anything about the coffee to me.. I finish dinner and get my bill.. $36.. I ask for the receipt and the coffee was still there. I asked her to take it off again and she said she’d get the manager. He comes over.. asked me why I didn’t tell him about it earlier.. then says, “well you drank it didn’t you?” I had to literally show him that there was still coffee in the cup.. I didn’t care about the $3.50 for the coffee.. but the server lying to me about it being taken off and the manager doubling down over a cup of coffee was too much.. if you can’t take the coffee off just say that! I got the refund finally and gave it to the server. Maybe he was having a bad day, but if this is how he always treats customers this place needs to fire him immediately..

The most consistent restaurant I’ve come across in 30 years. Seriously, the food is great every time with no misses. We go or order twice a month and it’s always perfect. A true gem. Wait times in the evening can be on the high side, but we usually order Togo or delivery.
