I not only was going through a breakup but just really self sabotaging , I went to eat at IHOP and my whole day changed . My server was Nicki , The food was great , the atmosphere was comfortable & to make it Soo much better , Nicki really made me feel seen , She stopped and checked on me countless times to make sure I was okay . Her warm presence and welcoming attitude made me feel safe. Before I left she made sure I had a refill and was mentally okay ! I can’t thank Nicki enough for her great service and conversation. I’m extremely disappointed with how our recent order was handled at this location.
My family and I eat here often, at least a couple of times a month for the past year, and we always order the same meal: country fried steak with eggs, substituting hashbrowns for turkey sausage because we do not eat pork for religious reasons. This has never been an issue before.
Last week, our order was made incorrectly and pork sausage was included, contaminating the entire meal. Because of our dietary restriction, once pork touched the food, none of it could be eaten. We had to throw the entire meal away. When we called the store right away, the manager (Mindy) refused to refund the meal and said she could only refund the sausage portion. We explained we could not eat any of it, but were told we would have to drive all the way back to the store with the food to have it remade, which was not reasonable for us.
We tried again this week to resolve the issue, hoping for a remake or proper resolution, and were immediately met with a defensive attitude and told there was “no proof” we didn’t eat the food. That response felt dismissive of our religious dietary needs and the situation overall.
Mistakes happen, we understand that. But the lack of empathy, accountability, and customer care is what’s most upsetting. We’ve been loyal customers, and to be treated like we were trying to get away with something instead of having a legitimate concern was disappointing and frustrating.
I hope management takes dietary restrictions more seriously in the future and handles situations like this with more understanding and professionalism.

We come up to Iowa from Kansas and eat with my parents after church here. Always a pleasant experience. I wish our IHOP at home was this good. Juanito was our server on this VERY busy day. He was extremely pleasant, efficient, conscientious, and helpful. He deserves at the very least an act of gratitude. I’ll look forward to coming back on our next visit. I hope Juanito is still here.

I enjoyed my meal. It was busy but they managed to social distance. So you could take off your mask and eat. The staff was courteous and welcoming. I was impressed by the good attitude even though they were really busy. I wanted my steak well done and I got it as requested. I couldn’t finish the meal and was able to take the rest to go. The orange juice was delicious and tasted fresh.

We went on a Sunday morning at 9:00. It was busy, but plenty of staff and available seating. It filled up, but I didn’t notice anyone waiting for tables. Our service was great from the waiter, manager and bus boys!

Above average service. We had a special need person as our waiter. He gave us some of the best service I have ever had. He also had an eye for detail. Great service. I gave him a 25% tip. I will ask to be seated in his area if we go back.

Everything was great—except being seated in the back corner . Our waitress was awesome, the $6 breakfast was delicious, and our food came out in about five minutes. Love IHOP! ❤️

I recently visited IHOP and was very pleased with the service — our server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. As for the food, I can’t quite give five stars. It’s good, solid breakfast food, but nothing above and beyond. That said, it’s exactly what you’d expect and sometimes that’s just what you’re looking for. I’m grateful that IHOP is still here in our neighborhood after all these years, providing a familiar spot for a good meal and great service.

So me and about 5 friends came. Service supper freaking slow and took awhile before we were even addressed. My steak was overcooked and hard to chew. French toast always good and edible, but mad I wasted money on the damn steak. It was a lot of people in there so not sure if that’s why the quality got overlooked or not, but smh
