Haymaker Thunderbird is located off Loop 101 and Thunderbird Rd. We’re serving up the best burgers in Peoria in our humble opinion. This was our second trip to Phoenix and we were told we had to get breakfast at Haymakers. Well, we were not disappointed! The joint was packed but we got in after a 20 minute wait. The service was excellent and we absolutely loved the patriotic, pro American themes throughout the restraint and attire of the staff.
Now the food was excellent and the prices were great. I had an omelet and biscuits and gravy. The omelete was perfect and the biscuits and gravy was on of the biggest portion sizes I have ever gotten with some delicious fluffy biscuits. Highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant for brunch and had such a wonderful experience that I wanted to share it here. It is a family-owned place, and you can really feel that extra bit of care and pride in both the service and the food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. They have both inside seating and a patio area, which is a great option depending on the weather or your mood. The patio looked very pleasant for a sunny morning, while the inside felt cozy and relaxed.
For food, I ordered the plain pancake with bacon. The pancake itself was enormous—literally bigger than my face! It was light, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness on its own. The bacon was also delicious. It came out perfectly crunchy and not greasy, which is exactly how I like it. Together, it made for a filling and very satisfying meal.
To drink, I tried their apple juice, which turned out to be a real surprise. It was a little thick, almost like fresh-pressed juice, and the flavor was amazing. Honestly, it might have been the best apple juice I’ve had in years. I highly recommend this spot for brunch!

First time to this restaurant, came for breakfast and was not disappointed, had to wait for seating about 15 minutes, booths are actually roomie, soft drinks are cold, coffee and food are served hot, and served quickly, server was not super friendly but was efficient and attentive without being intrusive, prices are good with a healthy military discount offered, if eligible, will definitely come back again for breakfast all day, eager to try lunch and dinner, highly recommended.

First time coming to this restaurant.. Greg was our server. He greeted us and was very helpful. Smiled and made sure to check up on us throughout our visit.
The restaurant was very clean, bathroom were clean and that’s a plus for me. Atmosphere was great very nice interior.

The Haymaker Benedict is amazing. It is a must try. The service was outstanding, We were even offered to-go drinks.
The Huevos Rancheros are excellent. They are flavorful and filling. The crunchy corn tortilla added a good flavor and a nice crunchy texture to it.
The chicken fried steak and eggs were outstanding. The worst thing about coming here is that everything is so good that it is hard to choose what to order. The service is always good and even when they are busy it never feels like your wait is that long. This is always a great choice.
The Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes are full of blueberries. They are really really good.
The Iced Vanilla Mocha Latte is exceptional. I highly reccomend it

For $14 my husband received two very small chicken eggs
Two pieces of bacon one bowl of honeydew and cantaloupe that was sour
And one slice of toast his plate when it arrived looked empty
My salad was beautiful as was desert
My veggie patty melt arrived sticky
cold in the center absolutely no flavor
It looked like somebody dropped it
It had about a teaspoon of onions just plopped in the center of the bread and 1 half a slice of cheese
It was clear that they attempted to microwave it
I did not complain I set it aside And planned on quietly and respectfully
Ignoring the situation
Our waitress told me I was weird for not liking this offering
Repeatedly gave me permission that I did not ask for to speak
Pestered me
And then repeatedly told me “you’re good”
After every comment I made
I did not request for affirmations nor encouragement
It was my intention to just quietly walk away
Due to her repeatedly ignoring my desire to remain respectful and not complain
I have chosen to review
It was an overpriced
Undercooked underwhelming
Skimpy offerings
The booth we sat in had a torn seat repaired with duct tape that is coming up and repeatedly stuck to my pants
Our table was sticky
