My honey and I wanted to Chinese romantic getaway while on vacation we did see the reviews but decided to give it a shot the food was not even warm and I found two or three short curly hair which caused us to say forget it. We even would have payed but they cut the bill for us. Never again. It really was a shame. The food looked great but had little flavor. I do not take reviews lightly but if your looking to eat quality Chinese ask to look at the buffet and ask how fresh the food is.

I give his -5 stars….Went in this evening for the buffet, we’ve eaten here before, but tonight it was terrible! The food was old, rice was hard, shrimp was tough, etc. My Fiancee tried 2 different plates of food, I could only try one, none of it was worth eating. I tried to tell the waiter who checked on us and told him they needed to refresh the food. When we had tried the different items we selected to eat, and had expressed the need for fresher food, we waited a couple of minutes to see if anything fresh was brought out. Not seeing anything, we got up and went to the register, where I expressed to the woman there our dissatisfaction. My Fiancee was very upset (he works in the food industry himself), and all she did was smile and say that we owed $24.54. No apology, nothing, just that we owed for food we couldn’t eat, and drinks we didn’t drink. I will be adding this to Trip Advisor, Google, and any other site for ratings. Very disappointed tonight. I hope the Owner and Managers see this. Know that we will not be returning to the establishment EVER after the lack of concern the staff showed. Also, I called and tried to speak to a Manager or Owner and was hung up on.

$8.99 Buffet. Here’s a realistic review.

For the area, an $8.99 Buffet is a great deal (Nearby Seafood Buffet was $35/person). But as with all deals, there are compromises.
Pros:
-Clean and nicely decorated eating place.
-The “Basic” options that you’d see in any buffet (General Tso, Coconut shrimp, etc) are there.
-THE PRICE
Cons:
-limited selection, only one row of food.
-REALLY DIMLY LIT. I feel like if they fixed the lights, people would feel better about it.

SUMMARY: if you want Chinese buffet, this is a pretty good deal. Don’t expect 5 star food though. Be realistic.

It was about dinner time and every time I’ve passed it’s been pretty empty so I haven’t gone in. BUT I’ve been really craving Chinese food. So I decided to stop even though there was no one else in the parking lot. The food was old. Not many options at all. The people are not friendly and there is two options for beer, if that matters to anyone else. Not happy at all.

The decor is nice especially the Chinese calendar covering the hole in the men’s restroom. But other than that the restaurant sucks. It says hibachi and Sushi. There was no hibachi and the sushi was very Bland and there was only one kind made with imitation crab. With the exception of the bourbon chicken most of the food was subpar. Heads up for all you locals, there is no local discount very disappointing. When I asked about the discount I was told lunch is only $6.99. that should have been a clue to turn around and leave.

Brian Winston’s review is spot on.

The buffet is not well stocked. If the food you want is out, it takes them at least 45 minutes for them to refill that pan. By that time, I’m ready to go. This is the case with just about all the food.

Here are comments about the various selections:

Egg Drop Soup: It smells like throw up.
Chicken wings: Not very flavorful but decent. It is actually not overcooked. But they only put out like 5 at at time. Good luck getting some if you are after me.
Chicken Curry: It looks like it has been sitting there for quite some time. I didn’t want a stomach ache during my vacations so I stayed away.
General Tso’s Chicken: Not hot. Soggy. Not to most chinese buffet standards.
Sesame Chicken: Balls of dough. Don’t eat if you are looking for chicken.
Chicken with Broccoli: Salty, but it was decent if you eat 1:10 ratio with steamed rice for each bite.
Cold area: The ice cream machine is broken. There is a several flies hovering the small dish of sushi and the jello. The fruit looks like they were cut with the same knife as the one they used to cut raw meat. Then, the pieces look like they were sitting around for at least a day or two. I’m sure a fly already laid something on it.

Service, the manager (lady) in the red oriental dress: She’s mean. She acts like she just doesn’t like her life situation and shows it.

Would I recommend this place? Only to those I don’t like or if it is for a joke. Otherwise, close friends and family, please stay away from this place if you are looking for a restaurant that will refill the buffet table and have items available.

I rate it one star because I can’t rate zero stars.

Food was not too shabby, flavor was par yet the service was sub par. Food was not restocked often most likely because of the lack of customers. When it says sushi and hibachi… There is no sushi and hibachi is fried rice.
But for 8.99 what do you expect, a high end meal?

We had take out chicken and shrimp fried rice… average taste. Egg roll was good. Over $20 so more expensive than the all you can eat buffet. Off my bucket list for good

Good place! Employees are nice but barely understood what I was saying, the sesame chicken tasted like I was chewing on a box. Bathroom smelled extremely bad! I got a black, stale fortune cookie, gross! Overall the food just made me sick. Do not recommend this place!

While in the area on Vacation I decided I wanted Chinese food and went to this China 1 it looked wonderful, clean and had a pleasant atmosphere until the hostess came to seat me and my service dog. The poor hostess was confused about the Service dog (She did not understand enough English for me to explain) and was trying to figure out where to put us (There were very few customers). Then someone came from the back dressed like a cook and demanded I leave and that dogs were not allowed. I tried for 10 min to explain he was a Service dog and we had every right to be there to no avail (he would not listen just kept repeating no dogs you go) so finally we left. While sitting in the parking lot trying to calm down two a family that arrived just before me walked out and informed me they saw what happened and left because of it.

So if you have a Service Dog save your time and money and find another place to eat.
