Never disappoints. Highly recommended. Had the enchiladas rojas(new menu item), really good. Love all the salsas and chips. Always friendly staff. Clean place. Plenty of parking. Restroom was a little smelly, but it is a restroom, after all. Used by Lysol, all good. Tortillas and beans are so good. Fideo loco is a must have.

This location is always really slow.
They always get your orders wrong (missing items, wrong tortilla, etc).
In particular, today the service was terrible. The person handling the drive-through didn’t want to be there (that was clear).
He didn’t greet the costumer correctly (literally the first words he said to me was “yes?”. I had to ask if he was talking to me or not). He didn’t even ask me what salsas do I want, or if I wanted any drinks.
It took more than 30 minutes to get a one double quesadilla!!!!

I’m so disappointed in my flautas- this is the second time I come to this location and each time I’m given terrible quality of food. I come from Laredo and the standards don’t compare at all. This is by far the WORST location I have ever been too. I’m offended by these flautas.

Great variety to choose from, authentic Mexican food. Excellent service, my wife and I visited for the first time, we were attended by Diego ( outstanding customer service ) met the GM and owner all three gentlemen were extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable of their food choices. Thank you Diego for your excellent customer service, we’ll definitely be back.

I order all the time from the Stone Oak location and they are always on point. I went to the 1604 & Culebra location recently, ordered Matamoros plate and the meat definitely lacked flavor and the coffee tasted disgusting. Not sure why it tasted the way it did but I had to buy another drink thus wasting money on the coffee I bought.
So today I tried this location. Same plate, Matamoros. Again, the meat lacks flavor and not to mention there was so much hard chuey pieces of fat that I had to remove as I was eating from both tacos. The salsa in the bag was all messy with salsa inside of it. The tea tastes horrible. Not sure why it tastes very funny, not sure if its the containers not being cleaned properly or if its chemical taste.
All I know is that the Stone Oak location is on point & this location & Culebra location needs to get some pointers on how Stone Oak is being managed.

I recently ordered the huevos rancheros plate through the drive-thru, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite there being no other cars in line, my order took quite a while to come out. When I got home, I was surprised to find that the dish was missing the ranchero sauce — which is a key part of the huevos rancheros. To make matters worse, the chorizo and potatoes, refried beans, and tortillas were all cold. The only part of the meal that was warm and enjoyable were the over-easy eggs. I’ve been a longtime fan of this restaurant, and it’s rare that I’ve had such a poor experience. I’m honestly not sure if I’ll be returning to this location, which is disappointing given how much I’ve appreciated it in the past.

We went there at around 11:30pm. We ordered green chicken enchilada and chicken breast fajita. I usually like taco palenque but this time the food was cold. Chicken had a smell. The fajita did not taste like fajita at all. It tasted like boiled chicken. Not going back there. The server was nice though and inside was clean.
