I’ve never had a bad experience at Perkins, but all things change. Not very busy (10 tables) greeted fine and order taken in a reasonable time. Only two servers so taking that into consideration. 40 mins from time order taken until food delivered. Plates were very hot which is due to food sitting under the heat lamp too long so assume cooks did their job except the hash browns, barely any were about 1/8 thick. One swipe with the fork and the whole thing disintegrated. Over eggs were hard, chicken fried steak was hard .. again due to sitting under heat lamp for 10-15 mins. Server never checked back after dropping off food that’s serving 101. Had French silk pie and the filing was grainy and muddy. Nothing like French silk (light/fluffy) most likely under wiped as the sugar was not fully dissolved and could taste the granules. Not a very welcoming atmosphere .. more like get in get out and where’s my tip. I informed them of my displeasure and no effort made to correct anything. Even when I have a bad dinning experience and offered some compensation I always turn it down. I just like to see how the really like to make the customer first. I don’t write this review to make people feel bad I write it as an opportunity to make your restaurant better.. and that shouldn’t be too hard.

Took an hour to get our food. Apparently they had trouble with the device they used to take our order and it didn’t get put in right away. We got a discount on our bill, but it should have been fully comped. The food was average and the service was poor. The place was nearly empty, and it took our server way too long to notice her mistake. Our drinks were never refilled and the manager never apologized.

This place is great. Meals are consistent in their edibility and are properly cooked, the atmosphere is not chaotic or overly noisy, with this shift during my being led by Rachel, a warm and welcoming team member that, whom Id trust to lead my own business. You found a winner crew, and that is the starting conditions for formula for success.

We were unaware that Perkins changed hands. The last time we were there it was Perkins like we remembered. This time there was a noticeable difference in the amount of people who were eating. The place was pretty much empty. Our food came in a timely manner and the only issue was a human hair I found while eating a waffle. The waitress was pleasant and credited that from our bill. She said “the cook is clean if that helps.”
I don’t think we will return.

Perkins! Love this place. Being from Georgia, where Perkins is NOT established, it is a treat to find these places while traveling. Food is always good. Selections varied, and the services are friendly and fast. Food is always hot and delicious.

Each table has an outlet and USB ports for your phone and laptops, etc. Perfect!

A big shout out to Holly, our server. She made sure that our dining experience was the best!

Chief complaint: No Perkins in Georgia.

Took forever to get seated and served. my Husband was falling asleep waiting. He never does that. They didn’t bring the milk. I had to send my food back. They do not tell you that the toast with your breakfast skillet is an upcharge. Not a small one either. I know everyone is short staffed right now. But at the prices and poor service and food, we won’t be back.

I visited this Perkins location on New Year’s Day (January 1, 2026) around 11:10 AM with one other person. Upon arrival, despite many open tables and only one couple waiting ahead of us, the hostess greeted us with: “It’s a 15-minute wait—do you still want me to put you on the list?” A couple who arrived after us received the same greeting, noted that it didn’t look busy, and decided to leave.
I understand the kitchen was short-staffed, which can happen—especially on holidays—and I’m very patient with that. However, after waiting about 5 minutes (standing while staff conversed nearby), we were seated at a table that had been empty the entire time. We could have been seated immediately and offered coffee while waiting for food.
Once seated, the service and meal (a Tremendous Twelve and milkshake) were typical of Perkins—solid and enjoyable.
My main feedback is about the initial greeting: it unfortunately came across as discouraging new customers rather than welcoming them and explaining the situation (e.g., “We’re short-staffed in the kitchen today, so there may be a short delay, but we’d love to seat you now!”). This seemed to turn away potential guests at the door, including the couple who left. I hope sharing this helps improve the front-of-house approach during busy or understaffed shifts—Perkins is usually a great spot!

Perkins has basic perkins food. I have tried eating there 3 times in the past week. The issue is, they were not even 1/4 full but made everyone wait in the entryway for 20+ min befor seating them. If you have staffing issues, i get it, but fill the seats, take orders and tell everyone it will be a 20+ min wait for food. I would have been willing to sit, drink coffee and wait for 25+ min with my wife, bit sitting in a cold entryway??? Crazy.

This place should be shut down. Clearly, the cook and servers have given up, and don’t care about providing the bare minimum.

Value for the cost: 0. When hashbrows cost $5, I expect more than 1.5 ounces of hashbrowns (yes, I weighed them). Is it too much to ask that they be WARM, too?

Undercooked sausage patties…gross. Darn near raw bacon…also, gross. Butter that is actually soybean and palm oil. What in the…?

How does a restaurant screw up a French toast platter? HOW?
