I ordered the tri‑tip beef steak, half chicken with BBQ, and the cauliflower.

The tri‑tip came with two sides — I went with peanut coleslaw and french fries. The steak was hella juicy and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smoky flavor from the grill. The peanut coleslaw was made from red cabbage. The peanut complemented the cabbage well.

The half chicken was impressive too. It had that ideal charred finish, the kind that actually tastes delicious rather than burnt. The chicken itself was incredibly juicy, and it came with a savory dipping sauce. I’m pretty sure the sauce was meant to help keep the chicken moist, but honestly, my plate didn’t need it because it was already that good. Even the broccoli on the side was cooked perfectly: tender, bright, and not overdone.

The cauliflower was good too: flavorful, nicely seasoned, and roasted just right.

The service really tied the whole experience together. My server was super friendly and genuinely helpful. She had personally tried the dishes she was recommending, which made her suggestions feel more authentic. I ended up ordering most of my meal based on her picks, and I’m glad I did. She even brought out a bowl of water for my dog, a small gesture, but it said a lot about how thoughtful and kind she was.

Went here with my family. Only in LA for a bit. One of my friends told me that northridge isn’t really even in La so whatever. Well I got the Tri tip I think. The Mac and cheese alright. Not my most favorite because I like the more cheesy and burn/crispy Mac but it was more like mushy and very saucy/thick. The mashed potatoes were good. The Tri tip was good. Sauce was good. I liked it. The meat was cooked very well. Not like a well done steak, I had it done medium but just like very good. Great cook. Overall great experience, service was solid and atmosphere was great. My Beli gave it a 7.2 and I think it’s around a seven. Solid.

Not all Wood Ranch restaurants are equal in terms of food presentation, quality, and taste. I left the location on Tampa Street feeling disappointed and hesitant to visit any other Wood Ranch restaurants.

I usually dine at the Wood Ranch in Thousand Oaks, but I stopped at this one because I was in the area.

While my side salad was delicious, the portions of my entrees, particularly the beef ribs, were burnt. The Brussels sprouts were overcooked, old, and absolutely inedible. I don’t usually like to complain, but I felt I had to address this issue, so I informed the bartender that I didn’t want the Brussels sprouts. He graciously replaced them with sweet corn, which was much better. I forced myself to eat one burnt rib and brought the rest home simply because I dislike complaining. However, I felt it was necessary to speak up about the Brussels sprouts. As customers, when we voice our concerns, we often feel like the antagonists when all we want is delicious food, good customer service, and a well-maintained establishment. The management should be ashamed to serve such poor quality.

Please be cautious about this establishment. In my opinion, it’s not a Wood Ranch restaurant worth visiting, and I feel my money was wasted!

I had only ever ordered takeout from this location before, so I was genuinely excited to finally have the time to dine in and try out some of their lunch specials. It was a bit of a late lunch for me, as I arrived around 3 p.m., but luckily, their lunch menu runs until 4 p.m. I decided to go for the special, which included sliders of my choice, a salad, and a side.

What I was most excited about, though, was getting to enjoy the rolls in person. There’s just something about them that tastes so much better when they’re hot, fresh out of the oven, rather than to go. I was so excited that the waitress even gave me some extra rolls to take home!

They also have a daily happy hour in their bar area, where you can enjoy $2 off specific drinks and great deals on many appetizers. I’ll definitely be back to check it out another time.

This location tends to get busy in the evenings and on weekends, so I’d recommend making a reservation if you can!

We had a great dinner tonight at Wood Ranch. I had top sirloin which had no fat on it and a baked potato and beans and two of us had La Crema Chardonnay which was outstanding. One of us also had chicken breasts that were tender with beans and steak. The last person had tri-tip sweet mashed potatoes and grilled broccoli service was great food was hot and delicious! Oh yes and don’t let me forget about the garlic butter rolls that were great!

As we walked in, the front desk receptionist greeted us with a sincere smile. We were shown to a table right away. The service was on point, fast and friendly. The food is delicious and fulfilling. Totally worth your money. Phillip our server recommended an excellent choice of food which I will always remember and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Going to eat on July 4th turned out to be a good idea. Not too crowded and the food and service were great. I recommend the BBQ Ribs, BBQ Beans, BBQ Tri Tip, BBQ Brisket, and of course, the Garlic Rolls. Everything was fresh and the food came out hot. The Garlic Rolls are

Daniella was our server on 2/16/25 and was spectacular with service.
At our table we had some food allergies and sensitivities and Daniella (along with the chef staff) went above and beyond in helping accommodate our needs. Food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the ribs, smashed sweet potato (my favorite side here) and the Mac and cheese. BlackBerry smash with gin is also really tasty. Can’t wait to come back again!

Celebrating a cousin’s birthday. We had a great time chatting away. Restrooms are clean and have t-paper. The food was really good. The smashed sweet potatoes are deelish. The meats are juicy and flavorful. Oh!!! They have a taste pomegranate lemonade. Yummmm!!! The service was great. The waiter was friendly and on top of his game. We’ll be back.
Oh, they told us their was a 30+ minute wait. No, it was 15mins tops. This place was quite busy. Parking was busy even though there was a lot of parking.
