When you come to Eddie’s you feel like you are going to an long time local favorite. A lot of older folks were there, looking like theyve been coming every Saturday morning for years. The food was really good and the helpings were generous. I’m generally not a big fan of breakfast spots but this one was one I’d come back to. The chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns was tasty and filling. Next time I need to try to steak and eggs. My wife got the traditional eggs Benedict and loved it. Shell for sure get it next time, they didn’t skimp at all on the sauce.

The menu is gargantuan. I usually stick to what I think they do best, breakfast. You can’t go wrong with the omelets with a side of home fries. Same with any of the burrito meals. And another favorite is the skillets, if I’m really really hungry. A single pancake often overflows the plate, servers sometimes suggest you get two small ones instead. They have a Seniors and Small Appetites portions if you’d prefer. The biscuits and gravy are Southern style; I’d suggest sausage gravy on top.

I have been reviewing Eddy’s restaurant for a while and decided to go there after work to try something I have never seen on any menu. It’s called the sriracha Beni. Yes it’s a Benedict with tomato, avocado, thin sliced ham with sriracha on the hollandaise sauce and this Benedict was spicy and a good meal. The service was definitely 5 star as was the atmosphere. The big bonus was when the waitress brought me my bill she said it was taken care of by a client does this to guest. Thank you who likes to remaine secret. This is a very unique restaurant and I am glad that I finally tried this place.

I immediately got the warm fuzzies when I stepped into this place. You can tell its been there for years. First thing I saw was 8 old men sitting at a big table together enjoying their meals and eachothers company. You could tell they go there alot. A place people have been coming for yrs. Good memories and great food. Portions are massive. I reccomend going half size. Lol.

Before Christmas, my friend wanted to meet up for a quick bite so she suggested Eddie’s. We both wanted breakfast for lunch so Eddie’s sounded like a great place to eat at.

I arrived first. There was a server behind the counter not really acknowledging me. There were also a couple other servers hanging out by the breakfast bar that were in their own little world. So, I just stood there for a while. Finally someone who was actually serving a table who wad walking by greeted me and got my sat.

I got some coffee started while I was waiting for my friend. I told me server about my new kidney and that I couldn’t use the creamers on the table that had been handled by previous guests. She was kind and got me a new bowl of creamers. I kicked it, enjoyed my hot coffee and waited till my friend showed up.

After my friend finally showed up, we breezed over the menu and decided on some grub. I did have a meal a little before our lunch date so I got something off the smaller menu. I decided on the hamburger patty with onions and 1egg meal. I thought it was going to be the perfect amount.

Everything came out quickly. I did ask for a side of brown gravy for my hamburger patty, it was looking kinda dry. The side of fruit I got looked fresh and my egg was cooked perfectly.

My patty was smaller, it would be comparable to a patty you would use as a slider. The gravy and onions did add nice flavor to it. Unfortunately the gravy was sitting for a while in the back cause it was lumpy and cooler. The egg was fresh and the fruit as good. My coffee was always topped off by our server which I really appreciated.

My friend and I didn’t realize what time they closed. We just thought that we came at an odd hour so no one was eating and it was slow. We hung out for a while and chatted. Finally another server told us that she was going to go paint the bathroom and she would be in there if we needed anything. Finding that to be such an odd comment, I googled to see what time they closed. It was 2:15 and they closed at 2. I thought a simple “is there anything else we can get you cause we are closed” would have been sufficient instead of beating around the bush. I served for over 30 years and have never told my guests I would be in the bathroom if they needed me.

It was an interesting meal here. The venue was fun with the lights and vintage decor. The food was decent. Our server did a great job but service outside of her was non existent or questionable. I have my favorite breakfast joints and I wish I could have added this place to it on this end of town. I love supporting local but it’s hard to support this joint when the service and food was just 50/50.

I have to say, this was the perfect place to eat just before my flight. I had a long flight that day and only an hour before I had to leave for the airport. The waitress served us right away, and of food came quickly. The plates were large and the prices were fair. I don’t order drinks anymore, $4 for an ice tea or watered down coke anywhere you go is just crazy! Water with lemon is just fine.
I have to say, I really enjoyed eating at Eddie’s. There are plenty of tables and if you’re in a hurry like me, there is a counter bar to sit at. Good food, great service and reasonable prices.

My wife and I stopped by for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and we both asked the same question: what took us so long to come here?? The food was fantastic—very reasonably priced and left us full and satisfied.

They serve Pepsi products, along with your choice of curly fries, tots, or regular French fries. So far, we’ve tried the chicken strips, regular fries, country gravy, French dip, chili cheese burger, meatloaf with brown gravy, and even sampled their coconut cream pie. We’ve had a great experience with all of them!

I will say the regular fries aren’t my favorite, but that’s just a personal preference—I’m a sucker for seasoned curly fries. Tonight, we also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and Salisbury steak, and once again, everything was spot-on. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked.

The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the interior really captures the feeling of a 1950s-style diner, complete with classic booth seating, framed car photos, hanging plants, and retro touches like the Pepsi-Cola condiment caddies. It’s got a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal.

The building’s exterior is a bit aged, which honestly contributed to us overlooking it for too long—but that was absolutely our loss. We’ve immensely enjoyed every visit and will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for great American comfort food at a fair price, served in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.

Had a great time at dinner with friends. The fried pickle chips were definitely my favorite. Got a burger to go and it came out nice and hit when I was ready. Pretty affordable for the two meals plus an appetizer

We’ve only been here 2x and so far it’s been a great experience both times. It gets busy on the weekends so you might have to wait a bit. The food is typical diner fare and the servers are so nice. It has a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere & plenty of parking.
