The deviled eggs are delicious and the brisket nachos are a must order every visit! The burgers were cooked to perfection. We had the pigtails with smoked pulled pork, bacon, creamy slaw, and fried onion straws – featured on the travel channel food paradise!

I gotta say, the grub was way better than the service. The host seemed like she would rather be getting a root canal, and our server was so sluggish I had to beg for bev refills. The staff was too busy partying at the bar to care. You need a magnifying glass to read the menu. I drove an hour to get here, and yeah, I’m kinda bummed. When I asked for a dog bowl of water, the server pointed outside and said, it’s out there. I thought pups were welcome. But hey, they finally brought me a tiny bowl of water, probably out of pity, lol. Here’s hoping the next visit is more of a blast. This is a really great place to get some good food. We went here for lunch today. The food was really good. The atmosphere was wonderful and peaceful. Our server was very nice and friendly. We never had to ask for anything. She made sure our drinks stayed full and that we had everything that we needed. There was plenty of parking and a nice little area to walk by the lake after eating. If you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, this is one of those places.

Wonderful place to meet with friends and family! Chris and Hope always make my dinner with cocktails great! My favorite are the wings! They are quick, courteous and have a smile on their faces! I eat there every weekend! Warm fun crowd with great music or sports on the TV!

We loved it here so much we came back twice in a 3 day period. So many great menu options. The view on the lake is beautiful. Delicious food. Easily enjoy amazing weather with the deck/patio style seating. Really great all around.
Only complaint is we had a hard time getting drink refills. And it took a long time to be able to put an order in for our food. Waitresses just seemed to disappear for bits at a time but were good when they were around.
Definitely highly recommend the deep fried green tomatoes!!! They were a family favorite for sure. Honestly all of the food we got everyone loved. It seems you can’t go wrong here.

I moved to the lake at the start of summer and began visiting Pigtails about once a month. During my first visit, I was blown away by the portions and flavor—it instantly became my favorite restaurant on the lake. Unfortunately, with each visit since then, the portions have gotten smaller and less impressive. After my most recent visit, I’m not sure I’ll be going back.

It was a wonderful experience and everyone’s food was amazing. The pork belly bites are tender and the sauce they provide with it is good. Only issue was our frozen drinks took a while but it was a crowded and busy day for them. Besides that I don’t have a bad thing to say about this visit. I’ll be back for more bites.

Love the atmosphere of this place. The restaurant has a great view of the lake with plenty of activities to do when you’re waiting to be served. The food was decent. The chicken was seasoned well and crispy. I expected more seafood choices. I ordered the burger with pork and slaw but the slaw was different more with greens than cabbage. The burger was a bit bland needed a touch of salt. But I would return and try other menu items.
