Lovely experience. Very cutesy and authentic Parsian restaurant by the water. The girl serving was really kind and helpful and spoke excellent English too to help me decide what to order.
The cheese gratin is their speciality. I got the duck one. So flavourful and cheesy and just perfect. The crispy cheese layer really took the cake. Really just made my day.
Each dish is made fresh (I think) so was about a 10-15 min wait once ordered.
Very well managed establishment and highly recommend stopping by. Very hard working crew!

We ordered two gratins that tasted delicious. The location is very good, as you are so close to the Notre Dame’s Cathedral and the price is fair for the food.
The only downside in my opinion is that the place is so small that makes it really hard to movement inside and you often need to “fight” with the workers for the space to walk.

Authentic French food. We had the Fermier. It was so tasty and warm. The staff is so friendly. Also the wine was perfect. So smooth and good. The location is also very good. It’s very close to the notre dame.

This was our second visit to Le Bistro des Augustins in two trips. Both times the food was absolutely delicious – perfect on a rainy fall day! We have tried 4 or 5 different gratin dishes between our two trips, and each of them exceeded our expectations.
I highly recommend this restaurant, but you should definitely make a reservation because it is always packed.

The best gratin in Paris. The people there are lovely and make you feel welcomed. But the gratin is everything #delicious. Its a small cute and charming restaurant.

I went here for the social media suggestion. I ordered the potato and chicken dish. It’s like au gratin potatoes with a few veggies. It’s a very hot dish and a comfort food. The portion size was just right, but would be too small of a portion for my son.
The server was very, very nice.
The restaurant is very small and very French. Indoor and some outdoor seating.
I wish they would have had the indoor fan going when I was there, as it was about 75 degrees today. So it felt a little muggy inside.
I appreciated the water.
Lunch was 15€

Words cannot describe how good the Potato Au Gratin is here. The pictures looked good but it was even better when eaten. Atmosphere is good but small so I’d recommend reserving a table. Wonderfull and definitely worth a trip.

We absolutely love this place. It’s very French and quaint, and the gratins are AMAZING. The restaurant is small, faces the Seine, and is frequented by locals—which says a lot. It’s truly amazing that it has maintained its original charm despite being right in a tourist hot spot. We were absolutely thrilled to discover it was still open, as we had been here six years ago and couldn’t wait to return. It’s a rare gem that continues to delight, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We visited Le Bistro des Augustins and really loved it! We were served by a very friendly and pleasant waitress. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was delicious — we ordered the Landais (duck and chicken dish) that was recommended, and it was absolutely amazing! We’ll definitely come back again

Come here for the gratin, that’s what they specialize in. Run around the Latin quarter and then arrive hungry because it’s a lot of food. Of the gratins, we tried the duck, the chicken, and the vegetables. We also heard the salmon gratin is great. All great options really can’t go wrong. Tons of cheese and potatoes, what more do you need. Excellent wine to go with the meal, only five euro for a carafe, what a deal! Overall friendly and quick service, even during busy times. The gratin is made fresh and takes a while to come out but totally worth it. If you’re hungry after your activities in the Latin quarter, stop here for a heavy meal.
