We recently had an extremely pleasant and satisfying dining experience at the Red Lobster on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia, CA, where we live. The food was most excellent, and the pleasure of our visit was greatly enhanced by our server, a young lady named America. She was extremely efficient and professional; in addition to this, she was authentically kind, warmhearted, personable, and charming. She is an intelligent young lady who clearly likes people and enjoys her job, and I intend to ask specifically to be seated in her section the next time I dine at Red Lobster. Thank you for a memorable dining experience, America! You’re the best!

I was watching some TV show while my husband and his brother were playing some survival game that I don’t like, then I saw Red Lobster commercial, then suddenly wanted Red Lobster so I asked my brother in law if we can go to Red lobster for dinner instead of cooking dinner. and he was like sure~ but it’s like 40 min away from here, I’m like what? Anyway, the service was super super friendly, and the lady who helped us was super fun too! The food was great too! We ended up spending a lot, but it was worth it!

All 4 of our meals were very good. The service was very good as well. The only reason I gave 4 starts for Atmosphere was because the music was a little loud for our taste. We had almost stopped going to Red Lobster all together because quality and quantity had gone downhill. But now we’ll be back often. Red Lobster is back on my husband’s preferred restaurant list again.

On January 1st 2026, we visited Red Lobster in Visalia Ca. We had an exceptional waiter named Thomas. He was so attentive, checking on our party frequently and following up on anything we needed. He was friendly and offered suggestions from the menu based on information we shared on our food interests. He truly made our meal experience AWESOME! Although we told Thomas thank you several times, I wanted to recognize him in another way. I hope this reaches the corporate office and the people in our community that frequent this restaurant.Thomas if you receive this… I hope you know how much we really appreciated your great service and positive attitude! Had dined at many red lobster locations… this one was the worst one ever. To start.. we went on a Saturday evening… the empty parking lot should have been the first clue, regardless.. we went in, seated right away.. there was maybe 4 tables occupied. Famous biscuits came out with our drinks, water n soda. I ordered a holiday drink.. waitress comes back minutes later.. sorry we don’t have that one. Ok.. water is fine I said . As waitress is taking our order… husband bites into a biscuit….he pulls it right out of his mouth… a long hair is in it… waitress apologized n after taking our order .. grabs the bitten biscuit with the hair in it still…with her bare hands, I offer her a small plate, she places the biscuit with hair on plate n takes it to the back.. after about some time later ..
our food comes out, hubby ordered mashed potatoes as his side, waitress tells him.. we don’t have any potatoes right now, do you want to wait or get a baked potato instead.. mashed will be like 5-10 minutes wait, he opts out for a baked potato..
our order consisted of the seaside trio.. we love the scampi… but this one .. was overcooked, made the shrimp rubbery n hard to eat.. told our waitress when she brought the bill.. just so the kitchen is aware..
ok ok … they comped us free dessert (because of the hair) and since we mentioned the overcooked scampi… they deducted $5.00 off our total bill.. we will never come back to this location.. we were in town for a baseball tournament by the way .

We were going to give a lower rate for service because when we got our table he forgot about us left right away so I couldn’t get his name he even forgot to ask if we needed anything to drink…. 25 minutes later I flagged a gentleman and asked him if we could get someone to help us , later the nicest lady Alex ( Alejandra) came to our table and apologized and made everything better for us she went well and above great service and also we got to meet the nice manager she came to our table to apologize and to make sure we were well taken care off , very professional. This two lovely ladies made everything worth our trip for our endless Shrimp dinner which we highly recommend.

Been coming here all my life. I’m 25. We average maybe like 2-5 times a year. It varies year to year. The service is not awful but they don’t check on you as much as I think they should. The food isn’t bad but its nothing to write home about. The biscuits are the typical delicacies though. I miss when they had all you can eat shrimp. I don’t eat sea food but my family loved that one. Lots of good memories. This makes the atmosphere comfortable. It’s usually quite and kinda personal. Honestly it’s ok it had its pros but nothing outstanding and nothing really bad

I’m rating everything 4 stars just because it was all very average. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. It’s been about 7 years since we were last at Red lobster so I reserved our table online because 7 years ago I remember it being packed on the weekends! Well, it wasn’t packed or even busy when we went right at dinner time on a Sunday. Our waiter was nice, checked on us an okay amount but nothing more than that. Our food came and it was good, everything was cooked well but it was also sort of average. I suppose for the price you just want *something* to be amazing or very delicious. I felt fine when the bill did come though, because nothing was bad it was all good. Red lobster is not our normal stomping grounds though since having kids, but our son wanted to try a lobster so why not at red lobster! He definitely left feeling over the moon, and loved seeing the live lobsters in the tank.

Red Lobster, Late Saturday night 10pm me & my daughter had came here because she was craving their famous cheddar biscuits & the rest was history! We got the Ultimate Feast & it was Ultimately Awesome!!! Because there was so much good food & plenty to share from for two people or even three if you order some appitzers on the side & again the (biscuits) all you can eat & our server she was so awesome & she was always making sure everything was good & ok with us even if it was so late before closing time. Thank You to all of the staff members & our server for a great Saturday Night! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐’s & %+ Great Job!!!
