Very delicious food with interesting combination of flavors that we don’t get. The service was very good. Waiter manager and others were making sure our drinks were filled and our table was cleaned up after every plate was changed out. We ordered the pork chop which didn’t come with any side really so you had to order one. The steak with frits cane with the French fries which were suppose to be crispy but weren’t. cucumbers Thai side salad with a little spiciness and for dessert the Meyer’s lemon soufflé cake. I thought it would be warm but it wasn’t and it didn’t taste like a soufflé to me or my husband.

TLDR: Amazing, the seasonal menu is great — always ask your server for the “can’t miss” items. The gnudi (“nude-y”) and chicken and gnocchi were show stoppers! We liked how eel seasoned everything was — nothing overwhelming, just enough to enjoy the skilfulness of the chefs

Wow, I get it now.

Visited twice with family previously and had thought it was a solid, crowd pleaser but nothing stand out. BOY was I wrong! We were blown away tonight by the amazing food.

Food: Thoughtful, tasteful, something for everyone. The typical crudos and artichoke dips are there to please. My family has loved the meatballs and the pull apart dinner rolls before.

what we got:
⭐️ pesto gnudi – the first bite blew me away. we literally scraped the plate clean
⭐️ chicken and gnocchi – juicy yet crispy at tbe same time time. masterful!
– farmstand salad – yummy, amazing cuts chosen and flavor
– steak frites – the steak was ok. the jous and mustard aioli were incredible

Atmosphere: semi-intimate seating. it felt a bit cramped and small. the decorations are a bit dated (think 2000s Tuscan, italian restaurant core).

Service: everyone was kind and attentive. the manager even came over to talk to us! Brian was fantastic!

This restaurant is highly recommended by many foodies in Philadelphia, and even Taylor Swift has stopped by ✨. The overall atmosphere is very nice and comfortable ️. Service was decent, and the food came out at an average pace.

As for the food, it was good but not mind-blowing—definitely not as amazing as some online reviews made it sound, but still a solid choice.
Seared Sea Scallop & Fresh Gulf Shrimp Risotto: a bit on the heavy side, and the rice texture was too firm and grainy for my taste.
Roasted Chicken & Gnocchi: the chicken was slightly dry, and the flavor was just okay.

One downside was the cocktails, which weren’t very impressive.

Overall, this is a restaurant with a great environment and no major red flags . I’d come back to try different dishes, but I wouldn’t set expectations too high. ✨

Expectations were high when my beautiful wife and I had the chance to enjoy a lovely dinner out on a Friday night, and Talula’s Garden lived up to and exceeded the hype. We checked online for a reservation the night before, but only super late options were available, so we decided to try dropping in. Walking in the city earlier in the evening, we popped in shortly before 4 pm (when they opened) and checked in with the host station. They were wonderfully helpful and arranged a 5:30 pm reservation for two. Nestled in the corner of Washington Square Park, the restaurant is beautiful and romantic. We had drinks and started with the cheddar biscuits, which couldn’t have been better. We were tempted by the meatball appetizer, but didn’t want to be too stuffed, so that will have to be next time! The steak frites were amazing – perfectly prepared and so delicious. My wife loved her autumn salmon – really nice! The peanut butter chocolate cake dessert was a triumph. We are already planning our return trip – one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. Thank you so much!

Had an awesome dinner here Saturday night with my wife. Service was amazing, our server was super attentive and kind. The food was excellent.
It was a little loud and crowded, but that’s what you come to expect for a Saturday night.
I’d love to go back and try more food!

I had a lovely time a Talula’s Garden. The staff were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. The food was great, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was mind blowing. However, I’d definitely come back for the overall experience

I’ve been to Talula’s Garden twice now, and both visits have been consistently excellent. The service is top-notch. The servers have been friendly and attentive. The food is just as impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients!

Most recently, I went for brunch with some of my best friends and I had the buttermilk fried chicken and waffle. It came with sautéed peaches and a light honey drizzle, and it was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

I can definitely say that Talula’s Garden is becoming one of my favorite spots in Philly for both the food and the experience.

I came here with my fiancee on a spur of the moment dinner while we were in the city. I found it easy to get a table, which is awesome for such a great place.

Overall the food was great, I don’t exactly recall what we ate, but the salad with goat cheese was an excellent starter, and we left with a smile on our face.

Service was good, and we liked the cute atmosphere. The manager was extremely nice and seemed to be happy to be there.

We will be back for sure!
