Our service was really good. It’s a cool place, but the food just wasn’t good. The ribs were really dry, baked beans were average nothing special, Mac n cheese was eh. Idk I guess I have high expectations for BBQ. I’d probably go to mission bbq instead of here.

Ok its not amazing BBQ, but the price to quality is really good.
Ribs and pulled pork were good, the chicken wings were solid and had crispy skin.
The beer price is incredible at 1.50 to 4 and the soft drinks and wine also were cheap.
The sides felt phoned in. Portions were huge you won’t leave hungry.

My family loves this place! Our 5 year old son calls it The Cowboy Place. He’s a very picky eater and this is the only place he will eat his entire meal. He loves the chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. My husband works around the corner and his boss will get lunch from here every once in a while and my husband decided to take us one time now we’re hooked. We will drive from Palmetto to eat here. We always have good service. All the employees are amazing. Never have to wait long for our food or table. Food is so good.

It was my first time here and the staff are amazing (very attentive) , the atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. The portion size is very large. There’s a good variety of options for everyone and lots of sauces for dipping.

This was my first time at this bbq place. I went with a friend, who has dined here before and said that the food was very good. Well, my friend was correct!
I ordered the pulled pork plate, mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread. Everything was awesome, with the pulled pork prepared perfectly and not overcooked. The sides were just as delicious.
My friend ordered the baby back ribs, which were overcooked a little.
Service was excellent, our server was fast and efficient.
All in all, Gold Rush BBQ was one of the better bbq joints I’ve been to recently.

Where to begin? The food, appetizers, we ordered one of our favorites, the fried pickle chips which comes with regular ranch and spicy dipping sauce, they were excellent. We saw LOTS of people ordering the onion strings too, and they all but licked their plates clean too! Our pickle chips were crispy and tasty! My husband and son both got the chopped pork sandwich with cole slaw and fries. I ordered the St Louis ribs with collard greens and sweet potato fries. The collard green, so good, the ribs, loaded with all the crispy sticky pieces I love and meaty! The fries, I love me some sweet potatoes, any way I can get them, these come with Susie’s sweet dipping sauce. I brought the rest of this dipping sauce home with us. I am sure I will find something to dip in it or spread it on, I am not parting with this liquid gold! I have had to stake my claim on this stuff, though. My husband is thinking of jumping my claim, he is thinking about what he can use it on?
Would we come again? Are you kidding? We will be here anytime we are near it! The word is out on it. Everyone knows about it and comes here for BBQ.
Service? The service is fast and friendly. Tables cleaned quickly and efficiently. They know their stuff here!
Made it back for Mother’s Day, what a nice time to celebrate with family and not have to cook and clean! This may very well become our regular celebration place!

One evening, I just wanted chili for dinner, so we got our son a kids’ BBQ chicken breast meal with beans and cornbread. He loved it, and the portion was big enough for leftovers.
All around, Gold Rush BBQ delivers a consistently great experience—from food to service to atmosphere. Highly recommend!
