We went in on Christmas Eve fully expecting a longer wait and were completely understanding of that. What we didn’t expect was such a lack of quality and attention once we were seated.
We started with mozzarella sticks, which were served without marinara. The waitress said she would bring some when it was ready, but after waiting around 10 minutes or more, I had to ask again and by the time the sauce finally arrived, the mozzarella sticks were cold.
Before our entrées came out, the waitress informed us that one of our burgers had been messed up and needed to be remade. When it finally arrived, it was very obvious it had been rushed. It was supposed to be a grilled cheese burger, but the cheese wasn’t melted at all and the bread was barely toasted. It was essentially just a burger on cold bread with cold cheese—not at all what was advertised or expected.
Throughout the meal, our waitress never once asked how the food was, and a manager never came by to check on us either. I barely touched my food which should have been an indication that I was not satisfied. While I understand the waitress isn’t responsible for how the food is cooked, it is part of her job to make sure guests are satisfied, and that simply didn’t happen.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for a holiday evening. We rarely go to Applebee’s anyway as we prefer to dine at the local restaurants in Hastings but this experience will definitely deter us from ever returning again.

We had a great time here. Came to celebrate our friends birthday and the service was excellent. We had Keira as our server and she went above and beyond for us, very kind. She got us a free dessert even though it wasn’t the exact day. She was very attentive and got us everything we needed. Highly recommend coming here. They also had the Lions game on with the audio piped in which was great. We could listen if we wanted but also have our own conversation as well.

The food was good my sister had a good time sorry didn’t really care for the waiter seemed like we where bothering her when we needed napkins or a. Too go box had to wave her down to get. Her attention other than that the hostess and other employees where pretty friendly the hostess was awesome

Andrea, Cherie and Kailey gave our daughter a surprise 13th birthday party.
They had heard about Shelby’s story and went beyond anything we could have thought of.
Their happy bubbly smiles and warm inviting personalities made everyone feel so welcomed.
The appetizers were all so good.
Honey bbq chicken, spicy chicken, spinich dip with chips, pretzels and dips, motzerella sticks all amazingly good.
The cheese burgers were cooked to perfection. The cheese pizza cooked with a nice chew, so good Shelby ate 2 of them. The Chicken Alfredo was nice cheesey and creemy with grilled chicken.
All items will definalty be ordered again.

Our server Candace was awesome! And she got them the stars… otherwise would have been much less. Sadly… for a family of 5 we were in the restaurant for OVER 2 HOURS!! Manager came around and chatted about how busy and unprepared they were…nothing about a discount or anything because of our long wait. Multiple other tables were sat and served before us. Poor management for sure.

I had a party of 3 and my friend had a party of 2. We chose this place as it is 1/2 btwn. where both our parties live. I wasn’t a fan of us going here. I had remembered the last time I was at this place and their food was bad back then.
You never leave with leftovers to eat the next day. They give you just enough to satisfy you and that is it. I prefer leftovers so if this does not bother you, you are good to go. 🙂
The menu described my chicken breast as moist. As soon as plate was placed in front of me I knew it was NOT moist at all. And as I had thought before…their portion sizes, or lack thereof, did not even fill my plate.
They were out of broccoli. There went my 2 menu items I was deciding btwn. Unless you like your chicken Alfredo w/green beans instead of broccoli lol.
My daughter got chicken fingers and fries…you should be safe there. Just check the temp and make sure it’s not cold.
The other 3 at our table got meat. The menu explained the ribs as fall of the bone-they were not. She was offered another meal. The other 2 girls’ meat was well done when they req’d. rare+ (I believe they called it..?) So their steaks were taken back as well.
Us 5 ate at all seperate times. I felt bad eating my chicken breast, better described as jerky, while 3 at my table looked at me as they were salivating lol!
Our waitress took our order w/o writing it down. She was back 2-3 times to ask us about what we ordered. Side dishes were placed on wrong person’s ordered food. The garlic beans were not garlic. The mashed potatoes were dry.
The waitress was apologetic and we were happy to see a manager come to our table as we thought we’d be given some sort of a discount. Sadly we were not.
We all still left a 20% tip and went on our merry way all knowing we wouldn’t be back.
Hopefully this was an isolated event, but this was our experience.

Celebrated my retirement with Makayla as our waitress. Food and service was great. Makayla’s timing was perfect. There when expected, checked on us nicely, got every detail on our order correct. Look forward to going back. So many things on their menu on my mind for trying next.

Our server tonight was good. Kept the drinks full. However, the food here just keeps getting worse. They were out of.half the appetizers tonight, as well. The food tonight was so bad I came home with a horrible stomach ache and threw up my dinner. My daughter was also sick. Historically they never cook the meat the way you request so we always get beef that still moos. The mashed potatoes are no longer garlicy. Chicken is dry. Nachos drowning in salt. We will not be wasting money at crapplebees again.
