We saw this place online and took a day trip. So worth it! We went to Washington Gardens then we stopped in. Our 5 year old loved watching airplanes take off and land she said it was the BEST experience! Mallory was our server and she was so attentive and kind — seriously top-tier service.
We were the only ones there when we arrived, but by the time we left around 1pm the place was completely full… and now we know why!
Everything was spotless (even the bathrooms), and
the food portions were so generous we all had leftovers.
I had the mahi sandwich with tots (SO good), my daughter had the chicken, and my hubby ordered the Reuben — every single plate was a win.
And let me just say… the pretzel?! AMAZING. My bestie is obsessed with pretzels and I’m already planning to bring her and her daughter back just for that! We came from Jacksonville and we will be back.

Party of 6 arrived for lunch on a Tuesday. The menu is loaded with apps, salads, soups, sandwiches and full entrees at reasonable prices. I had a cup of delicious clam chowder and my sandwich was a Cuban. The food arrived promptly and everyone was very satisfied with their choices. Service was excellent and we chatted with the owner briefly, expressing our satisfaction with the dining experience. We will gladly return to this hidden gem.

This restaurant remodeled, is fantastic place off the way. Sit outside an enjoy the atmosphere of small plane airport. Cute helicopter slide in back for kids. Full bar with awesome bartender for adults. Loved the food. Ask for Mo as your server.

Dined there last night. First visit for us since the big renovation. It looks great – very spacious with an amazing bar in the center of the room with nice seating at the bar. Food was excellent and well priced. Our server, Elijah, was professional, friendly and attentive. We will go back a few times before we have to return to New Jersey!

Recently opened.

Saw some negative reviews, but despite seeing them I went to check it for myself and I can see they are doing a great job and working hard to make the patrons happy.

Crowd: This place brings in a great crowd.

Views: This place has great views of the aircraft we saw along the landing strip

This place provides Live Music

It’s a sports bar- lots of TVs to catch a game.

Food: The clam chowder was cooked from scratch. You can taste how fresh it is. The pretzel is another fan favorite. We got a ton of food, my one note is to not over cook those chips. The chips could be better.

Will be back!

First time visit, we loved it!

The pretzel appetizer is so big, we couldn’t even finish it but had just the right crispy/fluffy ratio. Comes with choice of beer cheese, honey mustard, and queso to dip.

Triggerfish tacos were the special.

Great selection of drinks, including mocktails! Prices are reasonable, don’t expect “cheap”. We saw 1-2 planes since it was a cloudy day.

Everything was good and delicious. Only thing is the hubby ordered sword fish special of the day and the the sword fish was over cooked and we weren’t told there was jalapeños in the mango chutney. We didnt ask as well so no fault to no one. Just a suggestion to the wait staff find out if any sensitivity to a specific ingredient. Other than that it was a perfect date night

Went for a quick bite today. Waited 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. Lucky for us, Cameron came over to get us started, and ended up just waiting on us. Cheese steak was good. Though a few hiccups (fries were not cooked, chower is salty) she kept a smile and was extremely pleasant. She is why I will go back again!

Food was decent, server was good. Price is outrageous. They up charge for a different side (the meals come with a bag of chips) plus we were charged for $3.50 for each soda when 3 out of 4 were kids drinks. $80 for a lunch for 3 kids and 2 adults (one adult was drinking water) is just unbelievable. Unfortunately until the nickel and diming stops, we won’t be back.

We’ve been wanting to try The Landing Strip Restaurant at the airport since we moved here a few months ago, and I’m so glad we finally did! The atmosphere and service were excellent from start to finish. The menu had great selections — not too large or complicated, which we loved — and honestly, it was hard to choose because everything sounded so good.

We’re big sports fans, so we really appreciated all the TVs throughout the bar and dining area. Every football game you could think of was on, so no matter who you were cheering for, you could catch the action. We were tempted to sit outside because it was such a beautiful day (and the view of the planes taking off is so cool!), but there are no TVs out there yet — adding a few would be the icing on the cake!

For food, we started with the pretzel appetizer, which was one of the best pretzels I’ve ever had. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries — excellent! My husband had the blackened mahi sandwich, which he said was delicious, although the bun was a bit too small for the large piece of fish. My sister ordered the cheeseburger and said it was amazing and cooked perfectly.

Our only minor disappointment was the bottled beer — we each ordered different ones (domestic, import, and cider), and none were quite cold enough to really enjoy. It seemed like most people were ordering draft beer, which made us wonder if those might be colder. Maybe adding a small beer-on-ice setup behind the bar could help with that.

Overall, we’ll definitely be back! We can’t wait to try the peel-and-eat shrimp — we saw what looked like 50 pounds of it leaving the kitchen during our visit, which tells you all you need to know!
