The menu has plenty of great options, and the server who took my takeout order was lovely and helpful with recommendations. Unfortunately, my order had a small error — I didn’t receive the cornbread I paid extra for. The meat was great, flavorful, and well-cooked, but the sides were pretty average, and the corn nuggets were just okay.

You can choose to ignore my review if you’d like, for I am from Minnesota where we don’t have food BBQ, but in comparison Williamson’s was great. Food was delicious and the service was great.

Ashleigh was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time there and she helped us navigate the menu and decide what to get between all the delicious looking options. Thank you so much Ashleigh!

One of Atlanta’s favorite barbecue places over the last many decades. Highly recommended. Today they were on the Marietta Square for the fall Chalktober Fest had the smoker going and the whole crowd straight carnivore

I always wanted to eat bbq chicken cook in charcoal. I was hoping it’s taster. No taste. The rub flavors doesn’t even taste anything it’s like a raw chicken bbq. No seasoning here.

The sloppy joe and Brunswick stew were good. Nothing special though. The Brunswick stew was too strong of tomato flavor and not much else. I didn’t care for my meal as much and it’s flavors, but that’s just me and my palate. I did try some of the ribs, and that was amazing. Next time, I’m ordering ribs. Other than that, everything was great.

A Marietta landmark for 35 years. Known for their southern style barbecue and sauces with the slightest Texas style in their brisket.
Not overly smoky or highly seasoned, their meats will satisfy.
Williamson Brothers makes a variety of sauces, including their original southern style sauce, Carolina style, and others with flavors that are available on their website or at your local market.
Williamson Brothers offers a taste of Southern barbecue, but your experience may vary. It’s worth trying for the experience in classic flavors, but be aware that the quality may not always be consistently excellent. While some who visit may find the BBQ overrated, others (including this reviewer) will appreciate its place in Georgia, barbecue history and tradition.
Go see for yourself.

Andrew is the best! I have a gluten allergy and he went above and beyond to accommodate and communicate! He let the kitchen know to be careful as he was putting in my to go order. He knew the gluten-free options by memory! If you have celiac you’re safe with Andrew. I know that sounds corny sounding, but feeling safe with my food, or like restaurants care isn’t always a given. This experience made my day.

I used to come here over 20 years ago and hadn’t been back. However, we’re in the neighborhood and dropped in for one of the best barbecue meals that my wife and I had in a very long time. Great service, great manager in Ashley, and just enjoyed the experience all the way around. Terrific food and what a big menu they have now compared to when we used to come. I recommend this place highly.

Authentic BBQ Restaurant in Marietta, we went for a family dinner without a reservation. House style Nachos were the best we’ve ever had. Meat quality was excellent, big portions even my big eater husband couldn’t finish. Next time we’ll try the Key Line Pie. Oustanding service
