Man, what a bummer. I hate to bash a place or talk bad about it but this was beyond. Since I have been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years, I understand a lot of faults and it’s not my habit to give a bad review but I was so heartbroken longhorn steakhouse. It’s one of my favorite places to go. There’s one by my house in Orlando that I frequent often. I was in South Carolina assisting the Red Cross with shelters. As you know, it was very cold this year, but anyway it was near the hotel where I was staying. I was so excited to get there, but it was from the minute. I walked in the door. There was a wait to be seated, which kind of caught me off guard because it was Monday at 3 in the afternoon but either way, I figured instead I’ll go sit at the bar so I don’t have to wait and I’m by myself anyway couldn’t sit all the empty stools had piles of plates on top of them. There was nowhere to sit not because it was full but because they were plates at the bar went back waited to be sat finally got sat and let’s put it this way. It took over 45 minutes for me to get my meal. They did not have the lobster that I ordered but did not tell me so till way after I had ordered. When I got my bottle of A1 sauce finally, that I asked for the bottle was so dirty that I had to take a picture of it. no bread she forgot the bread when I asked her about the bread she gave up some excuse about the dishwasher the steak was cooked perfectly and I’ll quit while I’m ahead. I feel bad talking bad about a place like this. Take my word for it. It was really bad. I just think it was lack of training lack of management maybe lack of employees whatever the reason I sure do hope that they get it together because it was a dang shame.

Hit or miss on the quality of service but the food was good. It took a while to be served but it was a Friday. Made me wait to recieve my meal before my bar order was filled. Besides the issues with parking and waiting for service I must say the food was good. The health dept had ranked a steady A for 5 cycles, then B’s for 3 cycles and its now has 1 C. Hopefully the C rate wont have another cycle because they have ability to do better obviously with all the previous A’s.

All I asked for was a refund way back in September. I wasn’t upset about the fact that had I not checked my food as I was actively eating it, I could’ve gotten salmonella poisoning. I spoke with two different managers. The first one said he would send a gift card. Told me to check my email shortly, never got it. The second one “Johnny” apologized and said he’d issue a refund. I waited. Til this day no refund. Now I’m posting about the chicken that could’ve made me sick because a simple refund wasn’t issued despite my patience.

Placed a curbside for the 12 oz. Ribeye, medium. Pick up alert was for 12:18, waited until 12:40pm for my order. Then the steak was so tough and chewy, it does this to my fork (pic). Gave 2 stars because the employee who brought the order out had good customer service skills and apologized for the delay, but I most certainly will not return to this location.

After 90 minutes of waiting for the food, it was delivered raw. We boxed it and left. I finished cooking it at our lodging location. Not a single table was happy and food orders were not correct or properly prepared. The manager was missing for over an hour. However, our server, Owen was amazing! He was the only good thing this location has to offer. Do not waste your time and energy here.

The food at LongHorn was decent—nothing particularly memorable, but it got the job done. Our server was definitely the highlight of the visit: attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to our needs. The location itself felt a bit underwhelming—nothing special in terms of ambiance or setting. Overall, it was an average dining experience made better by good service.

I will start by saying the wild west shrimp were amazing. Our waitress was attentive and provided good service. My main course was a burger and I requested it be cooked medium. I took a bite and it was completely raw with just a quick sear on the outside. If it were a steak it would be considered blue rare. It was inedible. I don’t believe I’ve ever been to a restraunt and not finished a burger but I guess there is a first time for everything. And there is a last time for everything as I will not be back, ever. Except maybe for the shrimp

We were very surprised! My husband and I have ordered take out several times-here. We ordered two half rack of ribs dinner with salad. This expensive $48.91 dinner was awful. The ribs did nit have much meat, the mash potatoes had extra heavy butter that covered the mash potatoes, mushy oily asparagus, and instead of side of barbecue sauce in cups we received cups of ketchup!
I called the Monday night manager on duty name MARISSA. She very unprofessional and needs management training. I was given the run around about the meal and she stated to bring it all back. The customer service is lacking at this location and I would be very careful at this location. I was 35 min away at 9:30 pm and she stated we had be there by 10pm !! I stated will bring it back the next day ! I will not give this location our hard earned money again!
We have no reason to lir about awful uncooked food ! A married couple cannot enjoy an evening dinner. Longhorn’s Steak House Vista location need a new dinner chef and manager! They have really gone down!!

Downtown for a local event and wanted to treat several friends for lunch. We were seated by the kitchen door with employees screaming at the top of their lungs and apparently not happy with each other.
We waited 46 minutes only for the wrong steaks to be served to both of my friends and I was told that they had just started cooking the chicken breast I ordered. Our waitress had not been back to the table since delivering our drinks. No, they weren’t busy and really didn’t seem to be real concerned about our bad experience.

The Chef Theresa knows how to cook a steak perfectly, the staff was very pleasant and very efficient at their jobs. The manager came by and talked to us, very nice fellow. Overall, very good and we will be going back.
