Was here for lunch on a November Tuesday, arriving at noon, and the place was almost empty. Pleasant, weathered surroundings, and had my choice of booths or bar. Huge pull tab counter with multiple games for those so inclined. Picked an empty booth, and boy was it hard. Taylor, our server, ordered for me, and dished up a very satisfying Reuben with chips and a pickle. Satisfying in that the corned beef wasn’t the usual shaved slices, but huge 3/4″ (I measured) thick slabs of great tasting meat. The downside of having all that meat is the reduced amount of sauerkraut, which I love. The second order was for the soup of the day. It was a cheese something that I don’t remember, but it passed with flying colors. The men’s room had towels vs blower, but could have used some cleaning and deoderizing.

It was a great time. We ordered the NY Strip special for $18.99. It was a large portion and we chose the loaded baked potato. They were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were wonderfully hot. Fantastic value and very quick service. I think our servers name was Shannon, and she was delightful. Attentive and knowledgeable but not pushy.

Been going for almost 10 years and have always enjoyed our meals. Not so this time. Prime rib medium rare was cold, no crust with what looked like a bit of Lowery’s sprinkled on it, tough and had a chunk of solid tallow in it. Chicken strips were so over cooked there was no moisture in them. Service wasn’t great either.

Very impressed with their Insane Infused Bloody Mary! The drink was slightly spicy and filled with a great combination of flavors. The toppings were also on point! The wings were my favorite followed by the bacon. You also get a tall chaser of your choice of beer on tap all for a very reasonable price.

Ordered two beers and a menu was handed to us. (two of us).
We were so chocked of the burger prices. All buger baskets came with chips. Priced $17 to $18 basket. Fryes added $2.50.
Thats a $20 to $21 basket. Wow. We darnk the beers and left a tip for good serv ive and got a burger in maple lake for half the cost with frys. Sorry. We will not return. The place was half full at 730 pm. Others must think the same. Used to be a waiting line.

The food was somewhat decent, but the service was just horrendous. Would’ve liked our server to inform us that it was BOGO night?… instead of just bringing our drinks to the table & dropping them off without an explanation. I probably wouldn’t have ordered a margarita if that was the case, due to the steep alcohol content. The server came to our table twice (food and drink orders) her third time was to take our credit card & had never checked in on us when we got our food. Mahi Tacos were bland and the tortillas were too thick (not even sure why the tacos were made of 2 tortillas? Because of this reason), she also never asked us how we wanted our appetizer of steak bites cooked or my friends burger. Both of which were hockey pucks & could be thrown on The Wild’s rink for their home opener. She was miserable with no personality and paid more attention to tables with either bigger party sizes and/or full of men or patrons closer to her age. Embarrassingly awful. Just a big “WHY?!” If you’ve been serving for over 20+ years, why is this even an excuse? You know that saying, “Don’t quit your day job”… well, maybe you should.
