Grandma Sally’s is clearly loved by many in New Port Richey, and I always appreciate supporting a local business. The atmosphere is welcoming, our server was very kind, and the food is affordable. My eggs and hash browns were cooked just right, and it’s easy to see why people enjoy coming here.

There are, however, a few areas that could really improve the experience. The biscuits were quite dry, and several of our dishes (my plate, my friend’s plate, and her bowl) had noticeable cracks. It would make a big difference to replace dinnerware, both for safety and presentation. The women’s restroom (two stalls) worked fine but felt a bit cramped and outdated. The water had a strong chlorinated taste, which carried over into the coffee.

Seating was a little tricky too. We were initially placed at a very small two-top, and although booths did open up, we weren’t able to move to one. Eventually we switched to a four-top ourselves. To-go boxes were Styrofoam, which felt less environmentally friendly than alternatives many restaurants now use.

On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the ambiance was lively, and there’s clearly marked accessible parking outside. There is a credit card fee to be aware of.

I may not return myself, but I truly value the role local restaurants like this play in the community. With a few updates — especially replacing cracked dinnerware — Grandma Sally’s could be an even better place for locals and visitors alike.

Went for lunch after seeing the good reviews. I ordered the patty melt. It was delicious. Husband ordered tje Rueben sandwiches and said it was okay. Prices were reasonable. Get the potatoe salad. It’s superb.

One of the best places to eat in NPR. Everything is great here breakfast and lunch. The soups are always on point. They use real Turkey and not cold cuts for their Reuben. I would guess they do the same for their other sandwiches. A pleasant surprise.

Great American restaurant. Ordered a 3 egg bacon cheddar cheese and mushroom omelette which was fabulous. Came with tasty varied fresh fruit and homemade white toast. Best breakfast I’ve had in restaurant in a year. Second time I ordered bacon default American cheese and mushroom. Big mistake cheddar is much much better.

I order Grandma Sallys a few times a week via DoorDash – Breakfast and lunch
Food is always delicious – especially the soups are my favorite.
Food is always hot and bagged up secure and safe to prevent leaking during the transport.
Love Love Grandma Sallys – hopefully one day I will venture out and pay Grandma Sallys a visit and enjoy a nice meal inside.
Thanks so much Grandma Sallys – YOU ARE AMAZING!!

I can’t say enough positive things about this place! It’s a family favorite, our kids request it specifically! So many delicious options (don’t sleep on the chicken tenders!) the staff are all so friendly and welcoming and great with the kids. The stuffed French toast is to die for! It is truly our favorite restaurant in all of Tampa Bay Area!

The food was good and fresh as always, but today as I was eating my fried fish and added tarter sauce to it, as I took a bite I found something hard in my mouth. I extracted it, and it was a reather large piece of Styrofoam. I alerted our waitress, who took it away. A little bit later I asked her what are they going to do about the Styrofoam, (definitely a choking hazard)?
She said the owner Dimitri, said he’s willing to give me a free coleslaw or dessert. I told her this is unacceptable, but she told me there’s nothing else he was willing to do.
We will never go back. I understand stuff happens sometimes that is beyond your control, but you should value your customers well-being above all else…this was not a good experience.

Great little gem of a find. We’re always looking for new breakfast spots and right underneath our nose was this place. We’ve driven by several times and noticed it’s always busy but we’ve never stopped until today.

From the minute we entered the greeting felt welcoming. We were instantly seated with no wait (party of two). Were coffee snobs and walked in with our own coffee from that place (SB)….we were hoping to not be turned away or asked to put our coffees in an undisclosed mug (yes, it’s happened to us in the past), but instead the welcoming became more friendly and our server was great.

On to the food…. The wifey had eggs, corned beef hash, etc., I had the country fried steak both meals were super fresh, the presentation was good and the taste was a 10 on a scale of 1-10.

We will definitely be back!

I believe the new owners have done a marvelous job. The food was hot it delicious it was very crowded on Thanksgiving but they managed it quite well. The waitress I had was superb, fast, efficient and friendly! The only thing that was not up to par was the parking!!!! They’re parking lot wasn’t big enough to accommodate everybody for Thanksgiving and was very hard to find a parking space. Not enough handicap spaces. I parked in a space that was marked off for no parking but when I came out there were four other cars next to me. That is the ONLY thing I could find wrong with the new Golden Corral in Port Richey Florida
