Have been wanting to visit this restaurant whenever we visited Crystal River and we finally made it. We started with the potato skins they were crispy and had a lot of bacon. Hubby got the wings in the sweet red chili they were delicious. I had the French Dip and potato salad both were wonderful. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day and Rambo enjoyed the potato skins too. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, she brought Rambo a big bowl of water when we sat down.

I ordered food off their website 2/21/26. I went to the restaurant and showed the bartender my paid order. I have proof that I ordered online and the bartender tells me she didn’t receive my order!?! Hmmm how is that when the money came out of my account and I have an emailed receipt! Don’t bother ordering online for food. They’re going to keep charging your card and when you ask to speak to the owner, good luck with them getting back to you. Their system is trash and they couldn’t care less about fixing it. Get it together, better service, atmosphere, and attitude. Just disgusting.

Bayside hamburger was totally delicious! I order medium and got medium and was juicy. Not a big fan of purple onions but I just took them off! Great service! Definitely recommend this place.

Let me first say, my wife & I have stopped by Nortons many, many times since moving to Crystal River 3 years ago. The music is fantastic, the food is delicious & the restaurant staff are great….However – DO NOT SIT – at the Tiki bar during daylight hours, the bartender, Nicole has absolutely no personality & acts like she doesn’t care if you frequent Nortons. My wife & I had hoped she would improve with time, but she is always “grumpy” & appears pissed off. My wife & I go out 3-4 times a week, we are VERY laid back & we don’t require much attention. Nicole needs to be trained on how to greet customers and how to smile.

Group of 6 in town for my 50th. Came here for the live music and u fortunately decided to eat as well. Service was very poor, but only 1 server for the entire outside patio. However, only 3 tables ordering food. Waited 10 minutes after seating for server to clear the table. Ordered 2 drinks, appetizer and 2 entrees. Drinks came at decent time, but tequila sprite was VERY watered down. Appetizer came out 30 minutes later and was paraded around the adjacent restaurant before going back I for a few minutes and then coming back out. Refused appetizer and asked for refund. My dinner arrived wrong (fries instead of tots) and the grouper bites had very little flavor. As you can see from the picture, the portion size was lacking for the grouper (5oz at best). I can see from the reviews that this seems to be a trend lately…service AND quality down. Plenty of other options out there, try your luck somewhere else.

We arrived at 6 got a table outside, we ordered extra crispy wings that finally arrived at 8. Server said it was because they were extra crispy. Service was definitely sub par. We ordered several rounds of drinks and a few appetizers.

We’ve been to Norton’s a few time and we love coming here! There is outside seating and inside seating. Dogs are welcomed (for outside seating) as long as they are friendly and mind their manners! 🙂
Food is always good and served hot! Staff are very welcoming & friendly and extremely quick with service. Pictured below is the Bavarian Pretzel, Loaded Nachos, and a Roast Beef Club sandwich!
