We went today for lunch with family on Labor Day weekend, and it was such a wonderful experience! The surroundings were peaceful inside and we were lucky to have our lovely waitress, Hannah, who made everything even better.
We started with warm bread and butter—so soft and delicious! Later, we found out they bake their own bread, and it’s served complimentary. ❤️
For our meal, we ordered chicken piccata, lasagna, and fettuccine Alfredo with fried chicken. Every dish was absolutely relishable—every bite was packed with flavor. ❤️
The kids were also kept entertained with drawing sheets, tic-tac-toe, and word search puzzles, which they really enjoyed.
As a special Labor Day treat, we also received two complimentary kids’ meals, which we ordered to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture! Ended our lunch with ice cream Sundae. It was just so yum!!
It was my first visit to Chateau, and I absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to be back again! ❤️❤️❤️

We chose the Chateau to celebrate my Uncle’s 90th birthday. We were a party of 10 arrival time was 12:30. Our waitress (sadly forgot her name) could not have been more accommodating. She let us have our time in ordering. She did not rush us and brought out the birthday cake with candles glowing and served it to us with grace. My Uncle entertained us with stories of his you and we did not end up leaving the restaurant until 4:30. No one attempted to rush us out even though the table for 10 may have been needed. I applaud this establishment for making our family feel welcomed and appreciated something some restaurants forget about. Bravo to the Chateau and a great waitress. She is blonde with black glasses

Lunch for 4 here on a Tuesday. Two sandwiches, one personal pizza, one Italian dish (pasta alla Norma with eggplant). Everyone enjoyed their meal, though none of the dishes were distinctive. Our waitress was friendly and generally prompt but forgot a few requests, which she promptly rectified when reminded. Our booth was very comfortable and clean. Traditional decor. All in all an agreeable experience.

We were not disappointed with our choice.
I made reservations for 6 p m. We arrived about 40 minutes early And we’re greeted promptly and we’re told we can be seated early. We were brought right to our table , and we’re greeted by our server Miranda within only a couple minutes.
Our meals came in a timely manner , and we’re both delicious. They were generous portions.
Miranda our server did an excellent job, she came back frequently to make sure we were set or if we needed anything else and brought us our check out promptly.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out with great food and service.

This fabulous restaurant never changes! It’s as I remember it 30 plus years ago when I used to meet work friends for dinner when working in Waltham. I met up with 3 work friends recently and the memories came flooding back. They have kept the restaurant in great condition, the Service is friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing! I love the old school atmosphere and different dining rooms. I had the toasted ravioli with meatball and meat sauce with a side salad. Perfect portion for lunch. Prices are so reasonable. So worth the trip from the South Shore.

Only had the Caesar Salad with Grilled chicken. I’ve had it several times before and it’s been pretty good, but this time it was so overly dressed that I could only eat half of it. The grilled chicken was good however, and the Scala bread was excellent as usual. Salads should lightly dressed. A person can always order more dressing but they can’t scrape it off when it has too much.

A massive restaurant with an old school Italian feel that it felt like home. Our server was the best I’ve had in a long time — and for that I loved it! Sauce was great and the portions were massive — enough for left overs the next two days.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and both times have been excellent! So far, I have tried the baked stuffed haddock, which is served with a Newburg sauce on the side, and it is absolutely delicious—cooked and seasoned perfectly, generous portion, so good. Also, the autumn harvest ravioli special is a combo of butternut squash and sweet potato, I believe, served in a sage cream sauce with hints of nutmeg—so delicious and perfect for this time of year. Service is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been going to the chateau in Waltham since I was a child. We would have a lot of gatherings and parties there. The chateau has opened other locations and their food is very consistent. I was actually there last week and I always get the chicken parm. It is delicious and a very big amount. I always have something to take home with me to enjoy again!

Went there recently for a funeral luncheon for 42 people. The servers were friendly but slow there was another party in the other room and I think they were working both rooms. Overall the food was delicious but I think it would be customary to serve the coffee before bringing dessert.
