I eventually had to go inside to find my order. When I spoke to the drive-thru worker, she told me, “Once I tell you to pull up to a spot, it’s out of my hands.” This lack of accountability is disappointing. My food had clearly been sitting out the whole time; the fries were soggy and the burgers were cold. Definitely defeats the purpose of “fast” food or mobile ordering.
Today was the final straw. I was charged for a cup of water. In the past, I would ask for a large cup of water with my meal, and when the Monopoly promotion began, I was told that large cups couldn’t be used because they had game pieces. I found that ironic, since the promotion advertises that no purchase is necessary but fine, I switched to a medium cup instead.
Now, being charged even for a medium cup of water feels absurd. Its not about the few cents its about the principle. Loyal customers shouldn’t feel nickel-and-dimed over something as basic as water. It sends the message that profit matters more than people.
I understand I’m just one customer, but loyal customers matter, especially when the data shows people are voting with their wallet. Given how much business McDonalds has already been losing to competitors who offer better value and care more about their guests experiences, you’d think retaining loyal customers would be a priority.
At this point, I’m taking my business elsewhere (as in away from McDonalds all together). Its frustrating and disappointing to see a brand I grew up with lose sight of what made it great in the first place.
Woman at the counter repeatedly handed my partner a vanilla milkshake when we paid for a shamrock, and when we politely asked for the item we ordered, we got huffs and puffs and eye rolls. At this point we asked for a refund because they handed us another vanilla, the employee continued to be rude to us, and with no surprise to us, we received more attitude for requesting a refund.
Friendly reminder: if you hate your job, you can quit. Grow up and stop making it everyone else’s problem.
I live locally and actively avoid this location. Everytime I give it a chance i live in regret.
Today, after the slowest line I pull upto the payment window and my order was cancelled. So we put the order back in and was asked to pull foward in their DT Stall #1. Well suprise we sat there for 10-15mins, until I had to go in and see what was going on with the happy meals. They meals were sitting on the counter for over 10min accoring to the ticket time on them. The lazy workers could care less. Im continually disgusted by this location and its employees.
