Coming to this place was absolutely a blessing Me and my friends came for a quick breakfast and adored the atmosphere here. Melissa was an awesome waiter to me and my party of 7! Getting all our orders correctly, quick service, amazing suggestions (the coconut biscoff pancakes). Everything was perfect and prices are great
Highly recommended.
We were a party of 4, yet an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. According to the receipt, gratuity is supposed to apply to parties of 5 or more, so this was confusing and unexpected.
Additionally, service was minimal. After our order was taken, the server rarely came back to check on us, and we had to wait longer than other tables for basic service. This made us feel overlooked and uncomfortable as customers.
I have no issue tipping for good service, but automatic gratuity that doesn’t match the policy, combined with lack of attention, is not acceptable.
I hope management reviews this, as it really affected our experience.
I got convicted for writing a short review. I would like to add that we went a second time lol! We enjoyed it so much, the service and the food. Although Melisa who served us the first time wasn’t there, we still got the same experience the second time.
The Lord led us to this place and the Lord is in the midst of it. Melissa even recommended us a place to worship the Lord!
Also, the hot chocolate was delicious!
The onions were red onion and I found that a bit peculiar but they tasted good. The vegetables and ham were not uniformly cut which drove the chef in me mad, but it did not affect how the omelet ate at all. I loved that their American cheese of choice was Cooper Sharp and the eggs were not over or under cooked. I enjoyed the omelet a lot. The potatoes were Yukon’s and looked like more seared roasted potatoes done in the oven than flat sliced potatoes typically done on a flat top grill. The seasoning on them was very good and they were cooked well. There was only one slice of rye halved instead of two which is typically nearly everywhere…but the bread was significantly thicker than most. It had grill marks on it as well so I am guessing that is how they toast their bread rather than using a toaster. I enjoyed the flavor of the toast a lot.
I was texting my girlfriend as I was eating saying we need to come back together so she can check out the breakfast here. I’ve come in the past but only really got smoothies (their strawberry banana smoothie was a small addiction of mine in the past) so now I know I really enjoy the breakfast as well. Dale’s – absolutely – Didn’t Suck!
