Great service from what seemed to be a happy staff. Bacon cheeseburger was on point with crispy bacon! Had my teenage daughter and her friend after a Volleyball game, perfect place for sports crowd also. Our burgers had no chance at survival! I’ll go back, but got plenty of other SA burger joints to try.

Wow! Haven’t had a burger this good in ages. You can tell they weren’t frozen and they have that nice grilled flavor.
The customer service was also pretty great. It’s nice when the manager comes around and checks on how we are doing.

Food was great. Inside is dark but the food speaks for itself. Burgers are simple and they get the job done. Boss recommended to try Chester’s on my burger journey across San Antonio and I was not disappointed. Fries are a must they are so good. Better than the onion rings.

The only bad thing I can say about Chester’s Hamburgers is that I dont get to go there near as often as I would like. I have eaten at Chester’s Hamburgers several times. Each time I can say they have consistently had some of the best Hamburgers that I have had in San Antonio. The entire staff are just absolutely great ! They really make you feel ,each time I go there, like you are not just a customer but a friend. Like they are really glad to see you. They also have some of the best onion rings I’ve ever tasted. They have great sized portions. And I can’t say enough about the hamburgers. I get the Bacon Cheese with Jalapeño Pepers Burger and onion rings or fries every time. I will say this if you can’t handle the heat , dont get your burger with Jalapeño peppers because they always have “hot as heck” Jalapeño peppers. I highly recommend Chesters Hamburgers. If you’ve never eaten there before, give them a try. I dont think you will be disappointed. As for myself I will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff . You are all great.

Bacon cheeseburger was a 10/10 as well as the fries. Onion rings were about a 6/10, not a fan of the breading. Atmosphere and friendliness from staff was as you’d expect, a 10/10. Samuel took our order and has great customer service, repeating our order back to us and making sure everything was correct. Thanks Samuel!

It was my first time there. Burger was “warm” had mayonnaise I always get mustard did not know or told you got both. Ok making the best of it, and towards end, a long hair. Onion rings were also “warm “. The actual onion was so thin. Will not be going back again! How have they stayed in business?

UPDATE: I stayed at the Residence Inn next door to Chester’s, which made it convenient to stop in for dinner. The bottom line is the burgers were solid similar to a backyard style but with a better poppyseed bun. I did really like the onion rings which were cooked perfectly. They also had a great beer selection to wash it all down. I returned to Chester’s for dinner on a business trip and thought it was even better the second time! I had a bacon burger with jalapenos and it tasted great.
