This is the former Joe’s Deli place in the excellent location in Downtown Salem. I was welcomed and helped right away and enjoyed chatting with them. My Italian sub was delicious! I enjoyed the chips as well. The restroom was very clean. I look forward to going back to try their Reuben next.

J’s Deli is an absolute gem! The food is excellent and the customer service is just as good — warm, welcoming, and attentive. The Trio Salad is a must-try, and the Hungry Mother is fantastic, especially if you’re looking for a delicious gluten-free option. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I can’t wait to see the bar side come to life — it’s going to be such a great addition. J and Kristen are truly exceptional and you can feel the care they put into every detail. Highly recommend!
