Every dish was absolutely delicious. My wife usually doesn’t even like fish, but even she couldn’t deny the exquisite taste of the fresh fish. Not only was the fish incredibly fresh and flavorful, the steak was also perfectly cooked—tender and juicy. Every dish tasted like something you would expect from a five-star restaurant. Even if you’re not usually a fan of certain ingredients, the flavors are undeniably amazing.

I highly recommend choosing the set menu, as it includes the signature dishes and is more affordable than ordering them à la carte. It was more than enough food for us and included all the dishes you would normally want to try.

The service was excellent. If I didn’t like a cocktail, the waiter happily helped me choose another one I would enjoy and even said to let them know if I didn’t like it—no problem at all. The cocktails were consistent and enjoyable, maybe not the absolute best, but that may simply come down to personal preference.

The food was outstanding 10/10, every bite was delicious. The waitress was also very attentive. However, I do agree with the comments that say that portions are small, we had the royal menu for 2 and I had to buy something else to eat on the way home. As said, the ingredients quality is outstanding so maybe that can justify the price ‍♀️

Nice restaurant. Food and service was amazing, just a bit too pricy, but you pay for the atmosphere and the place. They seem to had a problem with the illumination in the bar seats by the kitchen, the light were going on and off. If you go early the music in not that loud, but latter in the evening gets noisy. I was just visiting Berlin for few days so i can’t say if this is a very good restaurant by the Berlin standards, but its something you can find somewhere else

Visited on a Thursday evening – the place was very busy, creating a lively yet not overwhelming atmosphere. The noise level was on the louder side, but still pleasant. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

We opted for the tasting menu, leaning more toward fish and meat than vegan options. While the steak and the chocolate dessert were good, they didn’t quite live up to the standard set by the other courses.

Overall, a clear recommendation – we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Best dinner I’ve had in Berlin. Really exceptional. Highlight (among many highlights) was the amazing, perfectly cooked steak, but the appetizers really rocked our world as well.

First, the good things. The food was mostly very good to good. Fish, meat dishes, soup were tasty and well prepared. The service was very friendly but somewhat chaotic. We had 5 to 6 people serving us during the whole evening. This made the ordering process somewhat difficult – e.g. drinks were forgotten/had to be reminded of, a dish was billed twice on the bill (we noticed it accidentally and were given cash back but such things should not happen – and it happened because one side dish never came, we asked again, but the waiters (as there were so many) did not communicate with each other and billed it twice), we were never asked if we wanted more drinks and had to catch waiters to order…The vibe, especially the music, felt like the 2000s have never left and made the food taste somehow worse? It was that cheap mixture of pop music that is remixed for the dance hall in a tourist club. The worst was, however, the temperature of the room. It felt like 17-18 degrees celsius. It is very cold outside in Berlin at the moment, and the cold air enters when the guests enter or leave the room, but the room does not really get warm afterwards and there is a constant cold air coming in. As there are many people coming in and out, I was always really cold. Strange that the restaurant has no solutions for that…so yeah, mixed feelings. Some of the dishes were really nice, and the waiters were friendly, but the mistakes and the temperature and the music…honestly, not worth tor such a long reservation + price of 200-300 eur for 2 people, unless the conditions are improved.

893 Ryōtei is one of those places that grabs your attention before you even step inside. The entrance is super low-key — blink and you’ll miss it — which weirdly adds to the charm. It sets the vibe right away: cool, edgy, kind of mysterious.

Inside, the atmosphere is a bit of a mixed bag. It’s definitely aiming for that moody, intimate feel, but honestly, it’s dark. Like, squinting-at-the-menu dark. And the table setup’s a little cramped — not ideal if you’re sharing a bunch of dishes, which you’ll probably want to do here. We spent a lot of time rearranging plates just to make space.

Food-wise? No complaints. Everything we tried was super fresh, well-made, and packed with flavor. But heads up: portions are small. We had to order extra just to feel like we’d actually had dinner. So don’t come starving unless you’re ready to shell out a bit more.

The real standout was the service — the staff were awesome. Super friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and happy to walk us through it all. That kind of attention always makes a difference.

One weird thing: the timing of dishes was way off. Mains showed up before the starters, and not even at the same time. My plate came way earlier than my partner’s, and then the appetizers rolled in late. Definitely not what you expect from a place at this price point.

Speaking of which — yeah, it’s pricey. You’re paying for quality and style, but between the portion sizes and the uneven pacing, it doesn’t exactly scream great value.

We had a four course dinner. We asked for a pescatarian menu, but since the dishes are mostly with meat, we didn’t get a lot of pescatarian or vegetarian dishes. the salad I can highly recommend. I really love them. It’s a nice experience. something different for a nice occasion.

This restaurant is truly unique and atmospheric. If you don’t already know it’s there, you might think the location is just an abandoned building covered in graffiti. Once inside, however, you discover a beautifully designed interior with a moody, intimate vibe. The food is absolutely excellent, and the service at the bar is top-notch. A wonderful dining experience overall – I highly recommend it!

Solid spot – worth the hype
I’ve been meaning to check this place out ever since I saw it in my fav chef’s food blog, and finally made it. The sushi was super fresh like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Really clean, well-made sushi the way it should be.

Service was great too, chill, friendly, and on point without being over the top.

Overall, it’s just a place that gets it right. Good vibes, quality food! Definitely somewhere I’ll be coming back to.
