We arrived around 2pm on a weekday. There wasn’t any wait. I asked for privacy in booth seating. We were kindly accommodated. The restaurant was about 30% full which was a nice peaceful experience. The waitress was very nice and patient. I ordered the 24oz porterhouse and it was delicious. My wife ordered a New York strip. She smiled and she savored every bite. Tender, juicy and glorious well seasoned steak. The side items were top notch prepared. It was a quiet, private, good enjoyable experience and meal. We will definitely visit Longhorns of Cornelia again.
Very satisfied with our food, waitress and cook. A+++ & 5 star restaurant.

My family and I ate at LongHorn in Cornelia, GA last night, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We were seated right away, and our server, Kelly, was fantastic—friendly, funny, and always checking in on us (but without hovering like a helicopter waiter).

Two of us ordered the 9-piece chicken tenders with sides—one with fries, one with mashed potatoes—and a side salad. When the food came out, Kelly looked at the plates and said, “You’re missing two tenders each. I owe you four more!” Less than a minute later, reinforcements arrived—fresh, hot, lightly battered, and delicious.

The side salads were so big they could’ve fed two people each (if we were in a sharing mood, which we weren’t). Another person in our group got the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries—crispy perfection.

Overall, great food, fast service, and a server who deserves a raise. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious and our server was the sweetest! We had a 30 minute wait before we were seated but that wasn’t too big of a deal for us. We’ll worth the wait and everything was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at this Longhorn location. I ordered an outlaw ribeye with the seven pepper seasoning, which was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend. Staff was great attentive and the overall atmosphere was positive.

This has been the go-to restaurant for celebrating birthdays and milestones for my mom. Been here for 5+ years multiple times a year and the quality and service is always good. This is more of a review on behalf of my mom. Her favorite thing is the lunch special strawberry salad, and the fruit flavored teas. Thank you for always being consistent and having kind staff. It’s not about the most expensive fancy places, I just appreciate how we’ve never had any issues in the many years we’ve been here.

I last minute decision. I am thrilled my daughter and I stopped in for dinner even though it was a little late. The food was very tasty. Our steaks were cooked exactly how we asked and our appetizer was served quickly. Our waitress was amazing. I did ask her name and promptly forgot it but she said to just remember the girl with the long pony tail. She was cheerful even though it was an hour away from closing. I told her how impressed I was that she could be so joyful and positive this close to the end of a shift. During our conversation I was even more impressed because she also works as a nurse and had worked earlier that day. It is rare to find servers that can remain cheerful for an entire shift. It was a pleasure to not be faced with a grumpy server anxious for a customer to leave.

My friend and I went for lunch @ 11:30 on 2/12. We were quite pleased with our lunch. Very good. They have the best French onion soup. I get it everytime I go. Our server Caleb was very attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of and had what we needed. Very pleasant and sociable.

Unfortunately, this visit was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Things started off a little slow, but the food did arrive fairly quickly. I ordered the chopped steak, which was supposed to be cooked medium rare. When it arrived, not only was part of the inside rare, but there was also a thin, papery onion skin laid across the top of the steak — clearly not part of the presentation.

When the waitress checked in, I handed her the onion skin, and she apologized. Shortly after, I pointed out the issue with the steak. Her response was, “Do you want us to put it back on the grill for you?” I handed her the plate along with my loaded baked potato. She returned not long after with a steaming plate and asked me to check if it was now acceptable. I cut into it and saw that it was completely well done.

When she returned, I told her it was now overcooked, but said not to worry about it. Still, something didn’t sit right. The steak looked like the exact same piece, with the same number of mushrooms. When I moved the gravy aside, the meat was clearly burnt. It felt like someone in the kitchen was being spiteful.

I asked to speak with the manager. A young man came to the table — unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name — and his tone was dismissive right from the start. I explained what happened, and he responded, “I see it’s a little overcooked.” I told him no, it was burnt. I am pretty confident the original steak had simply been thrown back on the grill, microwaved with the same sides, and served again. The trust was completely gone at that point.

He did offer to make a new one or bring something else, but I declined. At that point, I didn’t trust the kitchen or the handling of the food. He did assure me the meal would be removed from the bill.

He then asked my mom how her meal was, and she mentioned that her Brussels sprouts were burnt. The manager tried to explain the cooking method, saying that’s just how they look — but my mom responded, “Then why do they taste burnt?”

I usually have great experiences at LongHorn, but tonight was a major exception — and I definitely won’t be returning to this location.

The ONLY reason it gets a 3 star is our server!! Otherwise it would be a 1 star. They changed the area of the serves after we were seated so our server didn’t even know about us. From the time we were seated until we received our appetizers was 45 mins. Once she was told she was GREAT!! The Stuffed mushroom appetizer was great! The Shrimp appetizer was GREAT! Wish we had stopped at that and left.. The salmon came out raw. The manager came out and said it was medium but if I wanted it cooked longer they could. No sir.. it was RAW! When it came back out it was cooked this time. But it really had no flavor. The mac and cheese was worse than a box of Craft! The ribs were ok but nothing to write home about. The seasoned fries had no seasoning. The interior had a bad smell that I am not sure what it was. The whole experience other than our waitress was bad! The manager trying to cover for the cook was the worst of it all. Raw is Raw.. The waitress was kind enough to credit us for one of our appetizers due to the Salmon issue. Most places we will give a second chance but Needless to say we will not be back. We will go to Logans or Texas Roadhouse before here!!
