Let me paint you a picture: I walk through the front door to find my pregnant wife in tears — again — because of your restaurant. This is the THIRD time we’ve ordered from you, and each time has been a total disaster. She’s ordered the steak every single time, and not once — not one damn time — has it actually shown up. No steak. No add-ons. Nothing she asked for. Just a pile of disappointment.

Meanwhile, my quesadilla? Absolutely vile. It was drowning in sauce that was supposed to be on the side, and had weird, unidentifiable chunks in it. It looked like something scraped off the floor. Totally inedible.

Then there’s the sweet pork salad. Missing ingredients left and right — no lime, no tortilla strips, and it looked like it had survived a tornado. It was a joke.

I’m eating a corn dog from the freezer while my wife is trying to choke down this mess because she “doesn’t want to waste food.” That’s where we’re at.

Honestly, this is pathetic. When Cafe Rio starts losing to Costa Vida — Costa freaking Vida — you know things are going off the rails.

We want our money back. We want a real apology. Something I can show my wife and say, “Hey, maybe this was a one-off.” But let’s be real — three separate disasters say otherwise. Call me. I’m beyond frustrated and ready to have a conversation.

Had an issue with an online order and whether it went through to the store ok. My card said it went through but there was an error message on the screen. So, I drove to the store to check and they didn’t have the order. I checked and it was the right store. The manager was quick to have me reorder right in the store and comped the meal, even though they didn’t show payment. I left my number if there was any issues. But this was handled quickly and professionally. I’ll watch my card to make sure it goes through, but the experience was all good.

I grew up coming to this location and have always loved it! Coming back after a while was so disappointing. I have 7 specific complaints from my lunch experience on the 4th of July

1. Felt rushed while ordering when there was no line
2. Because she was rushing us my boyfriend who is lactose intolerant didn’t have time to say no cheese on his burrito
3. The lettuce was literally old and shouldn’t be served
4. Staff didn’t do anything to make it right and acted rude when I brought it up to them.
5. My burrito was smaller than his but we ordered the exact same thing. Plus his burrito was still smaller than what they used to serve and other locations still serve.
6. My boyfriend also ordered some guac on the side which had a salsa spilled in it. So he didn’t want to any of it because it tasted different and didn’t seem appetizing. (Waste of 2 dollars)
7. I didn’t even feel full or satisfied with my burrito by the end 🙁

Unfortunately I don’t have any desire to go back to the place I grew up loving as a kid

Although the location always seems to be busy, the lines seem to move fairly quick and the service is typically friendly. Larger servings, and the food is has good flavor. Love the fresh tortillas and a fan of the salads. Reasonable pricing; five adults ate for $60, and there were leftovers. (My wife is a much bigger fan than I am.)

I’ve never seen a restaurant so inhospitable to wheelchairs. I asked to speak to a manager so I could see if they can fix their doors so they either have a handicap button or less than 5 lbs of force. The manager never came out. I was hoping to avoid a lawsuit over the inaccessible doors.

Ate here tonight at 7:00pm walked in and there was only a few couples in line and a few couples dinning. The staff was so unfriendly borderline rude that we even entered the building. The dinning area was filthy and the fountain drinks were out of syrup and covered in mold. Dressings were forgotten that were paid for and they were so rude when we ask for it after waiting in line again.

The blonde male worker at this Cafe Rio was the only good part about my visit today. He deserves a raise because he was the only person (at least in the front) actually doing anything. He took very good care of us. They were out of pork and he had us take a seat and he called us back up when there was more. He made every single person in lines order all by himself. He also walked our food all the down to the register and packaged it for us as the man at the register (who finally decided to help out front at the very end of our visit) was on his phone the whole time letting him do it by himself. The cashier also spilled my boyfriends bowl because he was on his phone as he was grabbing it and flipped it completely over and then blamed it on the blonde guy for not putting the lid on right so he had to remake it for us. The cashier was not friendly or talkative to us. He also didn’t put my dressing in the bag which would’ve ruined my meal if the blonde guy didn’t make it so good even without the dressing.

Could barely hear the lady who was making our tacos. We had to say 4 times “I’m sorry we can’t hear you, can you speak up, please?
And the amount of meat they put in our tacos… I should say lack of. It didn’t even fill the taco shell. I wouldn’t go back. 4 tacos no drinks 25 dollars
