I should have read these reviews before my decision to come here. I ordered a “Philly Omelette” platter.
Food: meat was dried, I counted 9 pieces of vegetables (onions and red pepper?) in the entire omelette. The rye bread and hash brown were good.
Service: if you are in the restaurant business you are in the service industry, which means you are by definition a SERVER. You need to be approachable, you need to sound gentle and pleasant. I walked in, the cashier gives me a dead look. No greetings, no smiles, but a look of how disappointing her life is. A really awkward moment, that makes everyone feel unwelcome.
Atmosphere: No much to say about that, as the restaurant was almost empty. Music was OK for the dining experience.

We had a wonderful experience at this particular location as we were in Middletown for some errands and we desired to have a quaint meal. The environment was clean and the service was wonderful. We chose to have something of their burger page and the sandwiches were excellent. To our surprise, we loved the French fries as they were a nice side dish. So if you are in the Middletown area then stop by Denny’s and enjoy the food!

Waitress was not friendly. Acted like we were bothering her. We felt very rushed. Asked us what we wanted to eat but not what to drink. Had to tell her after the fact.
One person’s food came out but not the other two. 15 minutes later the other two finally came. When it did it wasn’t even warm.

We went on a Friday night. The food was SO GOOD and came out quicker than we expected. It was super hot when we got it and texture was perfect. When we first went in we were greeted right away with a smile. Such wonderful friendly service and a great dinner!

I ordered the lumberjack slam, the food was typical of a Dennys although I’d say slightly better. What was absolutely excellent was my service. Vanessa was my server and she served with an excellent attitude and brought everything in a timely fashion. She also knew when not to interfere in the conversation but was social to the right degree, which the table really appreciated. She helped create a welcoming and professional atmosphere all while maintaining excellent service. Will be back, and thank you Vanessa for the amazing service!
