Hands down the best wings I’ve ever eaten. The flavor was exactly what I look for—a sweet buffalo taste without the spicy kick, which is perfect if you enjoy bold flavor but don’t like heat. The wings were cooked perfectly, saucy without being messy, and incredibly satisfying.
The meal was also very affordable and the food came out quickly, which is a big plus when you’re hungry and on the go.
The only area for improvement would be the ability to order online or over the phone to make pickup even more efficient. Other than that, the experience was excellent. I would absolutely come back again for these wings.
The place is clean, very nice. Oh! Did I say how awesome the wings are?
Seriously the best!
Polite and professional.
I ordered the chicken wings fried hard (Like I would back home in the Chicago @ Harold’s Chicken) and they didn’t disappoint. Tried the sauce which was ordered on the side. I think it tasted really good. Sauce reminds me of another back home in the Chi establishment Honeys Chicken.
I mentioned those two businesses because they’ve reached a huge level of success, and in my opinion Bethune Grill is up there with them.
It’s worth driving 60 miles patronizing this establishment.
Soon as I heard them loud intercoms outside calling people’s names, I knew the food was about to slap. Ain’t nothing like grown folks yelling your name across the block before you eat good. That’s how you know the grease blessed.
Ordered the 6-piece honey wings.
I’ve had honey wings before. Regular honey. “We tried our best” honey.
These tasted like they kidnapped Winnie the Pooh and put him on payroll. Crispy, juicy, spicy-sweet… like the wings got baptized and came back saved.
Don’t judge the outside. The food doing ministry work in there.
