During a Pre-Valentine celebration in Savannah, my wife and I wanted to try something new, so we visited the Melting Pot. The first course consisted of cheese fondue. There were several choices available to choose from. We chose the classic Alpine, which consisted of a variety of white cheeses, white wine and seasonings. Pretzel bread, and a selection of fruit and vegetables were provided for dipping. The second course was the California Salad with candied pecans, Gorgonzola cheese and a delightful raspberry vinaigrette. There third course was the meat, in which I chose the duck, salmon, and shrimp, with the Moho as my choice of boiling hot liquid in the pot. There third course fourth course was the dessert. We chose and shared the creamy gooey chocolate and caramel pot with candied pecans (the turtle). Our dipping items were cookie coated marshmallows, apples, grapes, bananas, pound cake, brownies, and rice crispy treats!!!!! It was all delicious!!!! Next time, however, we have decided to select the grill instead of the pot for our meat course. I would advise you to try this place out as soon as you can, and ask for Brooke. She made us feel right at home and she was the ultimate professional. The general manager even stopped by our table to chat, which added to our overall experience.

Eric is great!!! He checking on us even though we are regulars and I could tell he was busy, and he was great with his other table we observed as well! He made time to make sure we had everything we needed. We love this Melting Pot! Eric even traded out my squishy strawberry for the squishy melting pot because I am a big kid. Haha! Thank you all so much!

We’ve been to The Melting Pot several times at different locations, but tonight was the best yet! We went for the Golden Celebration, and it did not disappoint! Wes was so engaging, and very knowledgeable of the menu. He added small touches of our conversation in to our dinner which made it so special. The food was incredible as always, and I found a new favorite…the Blueberry Lemondrop Martini! The Melting Pot is a must…even if you just want cheese and dessert! 10 out of 10!

The Melting Pot in Savannah is a great spot for a fun four-course meal with tasty dips.

• Our waitress, Bre, was awesome – super attentive and knew her stuff, which made the night even better.

• I totally recommend this place for special occasions, and definitely ask for Bre!

Sophie was a phenomenal server. She checked on us frequently and the food was amazing. She brought extra vegetables and sauces no questions asked and as soon as she found out our professions and other interest she personalized our desert plates with designs. She is a server I would ask for every time if I had a choice.

No pun intended, but going to a fondue spot (called “The Melting Pot”, no less! Rather on the nose, right?) seems like a cheesy thing to do. It’s also a DELIGHTFUL thing to celebrate an intimate moment. The staff knows it, too, and leans into it.

I won’t write a novel; suffice to say we let them know we were celebrating our anniversary, and they went above and beyond.

We chose the “Four Course Dinner for Two”, an indulgence, but it was our first time, AND a celebration.

We had great food, sampling all varieties of fondue courses (plus the strawberry feta salad, highly recommended!), beautiful service (thanks Alissa!), a congratulatory card from the staff (aw,! Thank you! We DID have a happy anniversary, thanks for your contribution!), and the manager stopped by to make sure we were doing well in our little booth.

The finale: this little extra touch we weren’t expecting. (See picture) Isn’t that sweet?

Would definitely recommend, and this may become an anniversary tradition! Thank you for a terrific time!

I think this could become one of our favorite date night places. This is located in a quiet part of downtown Savannah near what I would say the eastern edge of the downtown district. Pretty easy to get to, and there are plenty of parking garages nearby. We did not try any street parking as I rarely do in Savannah. Getting in and out with a little bit of a chore because there was an event going on For SCAD . But that would not be restaurants fault. We got in, got seated and got acquainted fairly quickly. We really appreciate that the server went above and beyond to help us understand the menu, make sure we were well served, and he really made our experience worthwhile.

Overall, our meal from start to finish, took about two hours. This is because of the nature of how this type of four course meal is brought out in pieces. We didn’t feel rushed, and we didn’t feel like it really took too long. In actuality, the meal kind of moves at your own pace. The faster you work through the courses, the faster it moves along. We chose to move slowly through our courses and have more conversation in between. We felt that the atmosphere was very calm And it was easy to have conversations without a lot of background noise.

It was a very comfortable, pleasant Experience. I think overall what I like the most about the style of meal is the structure is very simple, but with the options that you have, it still feels very customized to your own taste.

Like I said the start of this review, this will probably be one of our go to places for date nights.

Came here for the Thursdate, leaving with happiness! Larissa freakin KILLED it! She keep the vibes going but in a calm way. Very approachable, and great conversationalist. Food was spectacular and as good as we made it. 10/10 would melt again

We are local and never eat at chains except for here. Jordan, the GM does an amazing job of making every visitor feel important and welcome. They are currently having a Valentine’s promotion which is a different menu. Highly recommend! Be sure and try the candy bar chocolate for dessert!

We made a reservation at 7.45 pm for 4, we showed up at 7.50 and we had to wait 20 minutes before getting our table. 10 minutes to get our orders and they even got our drinks wrong, I am not sure what has happened, the place looks really good but the service was not it.
The salad had hair on it too .

P.S: We got taken care of after the review and the manager handled it perfectly, super nice guy and professional.
