I actually had only been here once before when I was a teenager. I split a blooming onion with my high school friends. Fast forward about 30 years and I got a gift card for Christmas for Outback. Wife and I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was better than I expected it to be. Not bad for a chain restaurant. I got the Delmonico rib eye with garlic butter, grilled shrimp, loaded baked potato, and steamed broccoli. It tasted really good, and I took home half for later due to the portion size. I think I will be back a lot sooner than 30 years this time!

After a 3 year absence due to previous service at this location our server Grant made us want to come back again.

My job is to drive a lady out to lunch three days a week. Outback has better cooked lobster than the 52.00 lobster she gets at a different place she goes for the view. Their fried onion paddles are amazing. The chocolate cake is better than tje brownie,..in my opinion. The best of all is the friendly crew here is warm, friendly, and great at what they do. We go here regularly.

Today I placed an order, like I do almost every week, since I regularly order Outback delivery.
While placing my order, I noticed that one of the steaks I always order did not show the size I usually get. I wanted the 9 oz, but the app only showed the 6 oz option. I called the restaurant to explain the issue and was told that they would refresh/update the system, and that if the problem continued, I could leave a note in the order explaining that I was unable to select the steak size I wanted.
I followed those instructions exactly.
When I called the restaurant again, the manager, Jorge, simply said he would not make the steak the way I requested. I even suggested a solution: to add two 6 oz steaks instead of one 9 oz steak, and I was willing to pay the difference. He did not try to understand or help at all.
The situation got worse when he abruptly handed the phone to a server, which felt extremely rude and unprofessional. The lack of courtesy and willingness to help was shocking, especially for a place I order from so frequently.
Very disappointing customer service.
I do not recommend this location.

We went to dinner tonight and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Kylan was our waiter and he was very attentive to everything we requested. The restaurant was super clean and exceptional. We will definitely be back and make sure we request him! Great job Outback!

Wonderful Veterans Day dinner! The potato soup, coconut shrimp, broccoli, and dessert were all delicious. My server James was kind, calm, and funny. As a disabled veteran on a tight budget, I really appreciated the free meal and dessert. Outback always delivers fantastic food and service.

My wife and I just had a pre-valentine dinner at Outback Steakhouse in San Marcos, CA and it was excellent!! We had a reservation and didn’t have to wait more than 1-2 minutes for our table. The server was the best and other people working there helped out as well (I think one was the manager that brought me extra horseradish for my prime rib). Drinks were good too. Service was fast and best of all the food was hot and prepared perfectly. We had a great time and will return soon. Everyone did a great job there.

My server was amazing she was wonderful. However the food has gone down over the years the lobster tail was not all that tasted mediocre. The new shrimp blossom amazing definitely worth getting. Steak doesn’t even taste the same as no more super fatty. The chicken tortilla soup really good. The lavender drink was too sweet for me. Shark drink really good.

The Melbourne steak was the best steak I’ve had in a long time! So tender and well cooked! Blooming onion and seared ahi was great! GRANT was a great server and handled valentines rush well. Great job!

Just left the outback steakhouse without eating. I waited for almost 20 minutes after I was seated no one ever came to give me the little free bread offered me anything to drink or anything at all from the time I was seated till that time I just left which is 20 minutes later me and my son are really hungry so we’re gonna go dine somewhere else. The service here sucks. I’m assuming we’re the wrong color and that’s the only explanation because they weren’t even that busy!!!:(
