The best Jamaican food that I’ve had out of all the restaurants I’ve tried. Authentic and tastes freshly made. They also have yummy cakes! I’ve tried a variety of the menu items and I would recommend anything on their menu. The energy in the restaurant is also amazing, great music and great customer service.10/10 overall

Went tonight for dinner, I got curry chicken and it was soo good!! My friend got the jerk chicken and that was so amazing too. The chicken is always tender and pairs so well with the rice and peas. Also got the beef patty and coco bread and that was good as well. Food came out in less than 10 minutes and the restaurant was nice and clean. I’ve come here multiple times and highly recommend coming here!! The brownstew chicken is my absolute favorite! 10/10

1st time trying Dixons, ordered and waited. The cashier was very pleasant. Oxtails, rice and cabbage were so good! Didn’t care for the fried plantains next time would do double cabbage it was perfect! Sweet and spicy wings were so bomb! Definitely ordering those again. Didn’t love the strawberry cake but definitely the food was worth more visits

My brother gets lunch here everyday because his job is near by. We live about 30 minutes away but anytime we’re near by or I’m craving authentic Jamaican food I stop by. The food here is delicious and truly reminds me of home. Everyone is always friendly and nice.

Quite possibly the worst jamaican food I’ve ever had. Me and my brother decided to try this place because of the reviews. He ordered the curry chicken and I ordered the jerk chicken with the plantains and mac. My jerk chicken by itself was okay tasting but the jerk sauce that was put on the side was terrible, it tasted like a spicy watered down ketchup and bbq sauce mix. And the mac tasted like just noodles, even the cheese was bland. The plantains were good but half way through eating it I had to stop because it started to upset my stomach. My brother literally had to go to the store to get curry seasoning because his curry chicken was bland. Really disappointed in this place.

At first glance, when I looked at the food, it looked funny, but I said, let me just try it. Biggest mistake. The oxtails literally had no meat on them—looked like the amount of food I’d give a toddler. No meat whatsoever. The rice was dry, the plantains were dry, the mac and cheese tasted like boxed Kraft, and the cake was dense and dry. Honestly, the food was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t even give that to my dog.
I called them and told the truth—I’m a food critic and I just wanted a refund. The lady assured me I could get a full refund. Cool. I tried to come up there last night, but they closed abruptly. Came back today, called again, and she still said I’d get a refund. When I arrived, suddenly she “couldn’t process” the refund on her POS system. Then she pulls out cash and only gives me $21, saying she could only refund me for the oxtails and not the cake. Meanwhile, some man was standing there trying to act aggressive, like watching me closely was going to intimidate me.
The whole thing was trash—food, service, and how they handled it. I come from Atlanta, I’ve eaten amazing Jamaican food in New York too, so I know what authentic, good food tastes like. This was the complete opposite. If you’re going to promise someone a full refund, do it. Don’t argue with me just because I said your food is trash—because it was.
I would never recommend this place to anybody. Ew. Try some other Jamaican spots and you’ll see just how bad this one is.

I called in for an order of Ackee and Salt Fish and they produced Greatness in a plate! The food is amazing and so fresh! Thank you so much for the awesome dish. I also got a beef and cheese patty omg it was so tasty!!!! . I ate the patty so fast I was unable to post a picture of it. Great service and atmosphere can’t wait to come back for more.

We also purchased a delicious immunity drink. It was so good we went back for a $2 refill. It had a tropical ginger juice flavor .. yummmm!
Everything was amazing !
It was slightly pricey but truly worth the money.

I’ve spent quite a bit with Dixons I’ve been eating here for years but the last 3 times the food has gotten worse and worser. It literally looks like craft mac and the ox tails was rubbery 70% fat seriously. Rice over cooked not sure what’s going on and the cheese cake was awful the presentation looked like 2nd graders worked with pre schoolers to complete this meal please get this together. I drive 1.5 hours for this.
