We arrived a bit early and stood outside chatting when a server welcomed us in a few minutes early to get seated.
We ordered a variety of items: pickle spears, Reuben, pretzel loaf with beer cheese, truffle fries.
Everything was perfectly cooked and I’d order each item again. The pretzel with beer cheese was the favorite, the loaf is unique and so soft and could stand-alone. The beer cheese has a mild beer flavor which was great.
The location is so beautiful and has lots of character. There’s a few bars throughout the space, inside and out. Multiple bathrooms.

Came here after visiting the cemetery on a Sunday and had the place to myself almost. Never too early to start drinking!! Staff was great, place was huge, had to keep moving or I would have stayed longer.

Decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Tsk tsk.
Other than that, it is a great place. Staff, Kevin, were great; friendly, joyful, attentive. The food was good. We had the brisket nachos, french fries, some turkey sandwich and chicken sandwich. It was all yummy. I loved my chocolate cherry adult milkshake too.

Just to be clear, this is what 5-Star customer service looks like. Austin and Kevin shook my hand when I wandered in during a work trip. They made it a point to not only introduce themselves but to remember my name and engage me in conversation when they had a minute to breathe. Oshea’s Irish Pub had a wonderful atmosphere with the traditional Irish music playing in the background, turning into a live musician as the night moved on. The expansive patio and garden area were perfect for gathering with friends to shake off the stress of the week. The traditional wings with the sweet/spicy sauce were outstanding and the selection of whiskies and bourbons were broad enough for any distinguished pallet. Oshea’s is undoubtedly the place to be in Bardstown, even on a weeknight. Stop in and see for yourself, this is the real deal. Well done gentlemen! This is my goto spot when I’m in town.

Excellent choice of beer and food. Fish and chips were out of this world. All of the food was great, and my beer was top notch. Greeted right when we walked in. Must stop if you are ever in downtown Louisville.

After a bad experience down the street, my partner and I dropped in to O’Shea’s to get a small dinner and a drink. Patrick at the bar was great, and made to amazing and well-balanced cocktails. Potato soup was great, quesadilla was great, the grilled cheese could have spent a little longer on the grill, but was still tasty. And they made sure to keep our water glasses full, which seems like a little thing, but so many bars forget this!

Forget the $50 / plate places in the highlands, and just go get a drink and a bite here instead

Best nachos I’ve ever had. They spread the chips out and provide even flat coverage, not stacked. Other appetizers and food was good as am

Great pub. Stopped by early before a walking tour for a quick beer and bite. Cold beer, great outdoor patio and good food. It was actually the first stop on the tour and we had another beer and their beer cheese and pretzel bread – the food was awesome. I’d go back just for that. If I lived there, it would be my go-to spot. Stop by and check it out.
