Pete’s is my favorite burger place in Kingwood / Porter area. In fact, it is the only burger place that I fell in love with.
While driving back from Dallas, I was searching for an authentic burger place. Pete’s caught my eye and I walked right in. It is a warm and lively place to dine in. The staff is very friendly and the food is simply G.L.O.R.I.O.U.S. I have shamelessly advertised Pete’s to all my friends and family in Kingwood and Houston area. Anyone reading this review, must visit Pete’s and make it your next favorite burger place. Trust me, they will not let you down.

Reviews are right. Coming here is like going on a time capsule to Old America. Food is beyond good and perfect size. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area and looking for traditional American cuisine.

This has been our fav family spot for nearly 20 years! And it’s so good that my oldest got a job there to work through high school! The burgers, grilled cheese, patty melts and crispy fries never disappoint! EVER! This is how a burger should be and the family atmosphere every body wants! Pete’s is always our family go-to and will be yours after just one visit!

Fantastic cheeseburgers! We’d been meaning to try this place for a while and it was everything we hoped for. Local atmosphere, delicious fresh food, indoor and outdoor seating — perfect for lunch or dinner.
My cheeseburger was perfect — party was seasoned great, onion grilled and still with a crunch, lettuce crisp, and bun toasted. The fries were piping hot, well salted, and crunchy.
The place was hopping but service was quick, friendly, and polite. All around a great experience and good vibe.

If you want an old-school 2000s style regular delicious mom and pop burger, YES. This is the place. Juicy, flavorful, and exactly what a good burger should be. Nothing fancy, just done right.

They were fast! Food came out quicker than than I expected and was mouth watering. I Loved the theme of the place 🙂 They didnt have WiFi, so if you want to spend some time with your family without your kids glued to their phones this is the place! There were decorations everywhere and I couldn’t stop looking around. They were efficient, cleaning around without bothering anyone. It wasn’t to packed either, but I guess that may depend on the day you go. Overall It’s now one of my favorite places to go, and I will 100% be coming back in the future!

An amazing hidden gem that has been around for over 20 years now, after frequenting the place since its humble beginnings it’s easy to see how and why it’s stayed strong for all these years. The hospitality and food remains excellent no matter how much time has passed. It’s a true staple to the area with its one of a kind classic vintage aesthetic that perfectly compliments some of the best American food you will have. In a time where it’s hard to find great affordable food where you can get the most bang for your buck, this place is second to none. Every time I’m near the area I make it a point to stop and go. The best mom and pop shop I’ve been to.
