You can tell they take pride in what they do, from the menu to the presentation to the overall experience. Easily one of the best dining spots in the area. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.
We each ordered a specialty drink with dinner. I had their Manhattan and he had their old fashioned and both were made perfectly. Between the atmosphere, the customer service, and the hospitality, this place checks every box. So many people recommended Fahrenheit to me and now I see why. I am so glad I chose it for my birthday dinner. We will definitely be back.
We started with the burrata, which was excellent. I would recommend adding a fourth bruschetta slice since we only had three and ended up splitting the last one. The mozzarella and chutney flavors were spot on.
I had a Caesar salad as a side. It came out before the entrée. The presentation was not as memorable as the other dishes, but the flavor delivered. The lettuce was crisp and well dressed.
The highlight here is clearly the steaks. We ordered two filet mignons. Mine was outstanding and easily the best I have had in the last seven years. I ordered medium rare. It was perfectly cooked, well rested, tender, and evenly pink throughout.
The second filet was ordered medium but was inconsistent. The edges were closer to medium while the center was rare. It still had great flavor with the garlic butter, but the cook was not as precise. Not enough to take away from the overall experience.
Dessert is where I should have played it safe with the house favorites like the peanut butter pie or banana pudding. I chose the crème brûlée. The custard was excellent, but the sugar top collapsed into a melted clump on first crack. The tiramisu was good and had a nice twist with Kahlúa and Baileys.
Alice and the team brought out a celebratory treat at the end, which was a great touch. The drinks were also excellent. The Pear Pressure was a standout and we were disappointed to hear it is seasonal. It felt thoughtfully crafted.
Overall, a memorable night and we will definitely be back.
I had salmon and my love had steak.
I gave the atmosphere three stars because they cram way too many chairs at the bar which leaves little elbow room.
The sides were just as impressive. The macaroni and cheese had a golden broiled top with a creamy interior that tasted like real cheese, not filler. The mashed potatoes were smooth, buttery, and actually seasoned, which most places overlook. Even the garnish was fresh and added to the presentation instead of looking like an afterthought. The New York strip was another standout. It had a bold sear, deep flavor, and the same finishing butter that tied everything together. It tasted like a cut that was chosen and prepared by someone who knows steak at a professional level.
The entire experience showed consistency, quality ingredients, and a kitchen that understands technique. Fahrenheit 132 is easily the premier steakhouse in the area and worth the visit every single time. This is the kind of place you recommend without hesitation.
Shrimp cigars were more like Virginia Slims. Mostly tasting the wrapper and a fried taste. What filling I did taste, however, was good. The dipping sauce was the best part.
Hangar steak was cooked to temp and the house seasoning is very good, but again.. the seasoning was the best part because the potatoes and broccoli were under seasoned. My friends lobster was nothing special.
The truffle mac and cheese had a nice truffle taste and was creamy and cheesy, but not our favorite.
Figured dessert would help, but looked at the dessert menu and nothing jumped out at me. Nothing about the entire meal screamed “exceptional” or worth the price point, in my opinion.
The highlight here is our server and the wait staff. You do feel very catered to. They are knowledgeable about the menu and specials. And our server (when I didn’t elect a dessert) still brought out a plate with a chocolate and a happy birthday message with a candle. Such a nice, thoughtful touch.
I love trying new places, so I’m not upset I came. I would definitely not discourage someone from trying it themselves, but I don’t think I’ll be a repeat customer.
Review update a month later. Visited again and it was very consistent with my first review.. great food and service. Had their pork chop, elk bone marrow and banana pudding again and it was wonderful.
