The orange chicken had a nice balance of sweetness and citrus. The sauce coated the chicken well without making it soggy, and the texture stayed pleasantly crisp. Portion size was decent for a single serving.
The pork pad thai noodles were flavourful and satisfying. The sauce leaned slightly on the sweeter side but still had enough depth to keep it interesting. The pork was tender and mixed evenly through the noodles, which I appreciated.
Service was prompt and the ambience was lively but not overwhelming. Pricing is typical for Khan Market, so it is not exactly budget dining, but the quality mostly justifies it.
Overall, a good spot when I am craving Indo Chinese comfort food in a slightly upscale setting. Would consider going back to try more from the menu.
While we were wondering whether to order one or two of stone bowls, I must admire the honesty of the staff, who suggested that one bowl should suffice for two of us, both Sr citizens.
The Sizzling Stone Bowl noodles were really served sizzling hot, were very well mixed before serving, and was truly hammy… thoroughly enjoyed.
The place is quite congested, but then, in Khan Market, most eateries have the same issue.
Next was the sushi platter. Boy, is that expensive. We ordered the Salmon and Tuna Sushi, what came was so fish coleslaw shit. Along with that came some yuck avocado sushi with prawns so bad. And the best were the shell pieces I got inside my sushi. Lol. They kept coming on the tip of my tongue when I tried gulping a who sushi.
Also please explain to me if this is a mosquito on my sushi roll or a seaweed piece.
I am disgusted and horrified right now.
Having said that, this particular outlet is a bit small and tends to get noisy.
Its always an 11/10 and even though its a bit on the expensive side, the food is worth it!
You can come here for instagrammable aesthetics but dimsums couldn’t match with the hype. Location is prime as it’s in Khan Market. Right opposite the Fakir Chand Book Store.
Even for billing we had to wait 15-20 mins.
The food is too expensive for the quality they are offering.
We ordered sushi, cheungfun, and prawns hargau.
The sushi was so badly done, we felt the rice wasn’t even sticky rice but rather basmati and for 4 pieces they are charging whopping ~650. They didn’t have crispy prawns option for cheungfun and each type be it veg, chicken, or prawns was 628. The cheungfun wasn’t even prepared properly. The outer layer wasn’t even rolled even a little tightly. The prawns were just coming out. It shows how hastily they were put together. Absolute worst cheungfun I’ve even had.
The hargau dumplings were good and again it’s 628 for 4 pieces.
The condiments weren’t great at all, plus the cutlery is absolute worst. Why are they charging us this much when they are just gonna use some flimsy steel utensils to serve.
The table was too small and they didn’t even put away the dishes we were already done with all thanks to the great service they are offering.
Won’t recommend ro anyone.
Some waiting, especially on the weekends.
Its entrance is from the back street, and is situated on the first floor. Around 20 slightly tall stairs need to be covered. Elderly need to be aware.
Space is at a premium inside, so chairs are a bit uncomfortable and seating is a bit cramped. Even the table gets cluttered if you order a bit too much.
Portion sizes are good, prices on the higher side.
