Great Italian food cooked like a local Italian family owned restaurant. Salad is good with of course the awesome Italian house dressing (yum). Chicken Parmigiana was very good. Great rolls, they call garlic knots! Lasagna is okay; contains a good amount of meat but sometimes has very few noodles (can seem like cheese, cheese, meat, sauce baked in a dish). Tiramisu is okay and better than many. Desserts priced heavily and are comparable to chain places pricing.

Went to celebrate our anniversary tonight and everything was absolutely wonderful! We tried the calamari, antipasto salad, dinner salad, meatball casserole, and cheese pizza, and they were all wonderful! We also had the house moscato and sweet tea, both very good.
Our server, I think her name was Carmah, was so nice and attentive.
Definitely would highly recommend!

I can only rate food as i had delivered! But this is my go to pizza place. Love the crust and how it is well cooked and crispy. Great amount of toppings. I always order more than i can eat, on purpose…

First visit to Luigi’s and we are very very impressed. The pizza was exceptional, service was great and the owner made us feel so welcome! And then to top it off…the Bread Pudding was fabulous! We will definitely be returning!

This is by far the lousiest attempt at “Italian food” I’ve ever had. I gave this place another chance after a bad experience three years ago, thinking, how bad could it be if I just order a simple chicken parmesan with spaghetti?
Big mistake.
The dish was watery, bland, and completely lacking any flavor or passion. It felt thrown together with no care at all. To make matters worse, it took over 48 minutes to arrive I even set a timer and the restaurant wasn’t even that busy.
There’s no love, no authenticity, and no reason to ever come back. What a shame.

My first visit to Luigi’s Italian Cafe in Rockwall was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed, which really set the tone for the entire meal. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but Luigi’s nailed it.
The food was just as impressive as the service. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with that comforting, homemade Italian quality you hope for when trying a new place. Each bite was satisfying, and it was clear that care and attention go into every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations—especially for a first visit.
What really stood out to me was how smoothly everything ran. Our food came out in a timely manner, drinks were always refilled, and the staff checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to sit back, enjoy a meal, and truly appreciate the experience.

This place is a must try if you’ve never been. And its an absolute repeat for Italian craving. My favorite dish is the Italian Sampler (sub Alfredo for the marinara). Their pizza is delicioso as well. The customer service is great too. With their friendly waiters/waitresses that do not compromise on making your dine in experience perfect!!!

We got their garlic Parmesan dip and sadly it was too much garlic, we thought it would be more Parmesan than garlic.
The rib eye was good but the side
I love their lobster ravioli! But for this visit we got the pesto pasta 10/10 and the rib eye which was okay maybe a 7/10.

Luigi’s Italian Cafe in Rockwall is a true family-run gem that we’ve been loyal to for years. We pick up pizza to-go every few weeks, and it’s always consistently delicious – hand-stretched crust, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings that hit the spot every time. Don’t even get me started on their amazing homemade bread (those warm garlic rolls are addictive!). Sure, the customer service and servers can be hit-or-miss sometimes – not always the friendliest or most attentive – but the outstanding, reliable food more than makes up for it. If you’re craving authentic Italian comfort food in a casual spot, this is our go-to. Highly recommend for families!
