We just moved to the Asheville area and we’re starting a journey of finding our staple places to go out. When we tried Cantina Louie, we were greeted by a beautiful atmosphere and even better service. It’s also super kid friendly! Our server, Adam, was top notch and so kind. Our food was phenomenal! We love coming to Cantina Louie! They have the best tacos and queso dip. Don’t forget to try the Pomegranate Paloma. I always get the hot surfer chick taco and I get it upgraded with the cheese and the hard shell Taco. It is amazing and one is enough for me!

Restaurant was dead at 12:30PM on a Friday lunch.
1st warning and I should have left.
Ordered the BLACKENED shrimp tacos.
Shrimp were NOT blackened.
There was no indication of any contact with a grill.
Awful overwhelming sweet sauce on the tacos.
Only 3 small shrimp per taco.
Only 2 tacos on the plate for $15 I think.
Probably the worst shrimp tacos I have ever eaten.
Nothing wrong with food quality per se, I didn’t get sick, but just VERY low in the the zero care given about the food on the plate.
The refried beans, rice, and guacamole were very good in contrast.
The chips were warm and just fine.
After leaving, I was super irritated that I did not send back the tacos, but I was in a big hurry, had been fasting for too long, and was too tired to even start the conversation to send the food back.
I read the reviews before going in and it is my fault for not complaining.
I have had so many bad customer service experiences lately with Frontier, Amazon, and Optimum, that I just couldn’t do it again with a stupid low quality restaurant screwing up shrimp tacos.
Would NEVER go back AND it was ridiculously expensive.
I could have made this $25 meal at home for $5.
I think there must be a LOT of fake reviews for this restaurant.

We come here often and are never disappointed! Manny was our server and he was spectacular! The decorations and ambience is really nice, makes me wish it was already summer. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on their drinks, they’re really good! I recommend the Black Diamond Margarita. We will be coming back, as per usual!

Great service from Many our server! He was great with telling us about the National Margaritas day special and the restaurant week specials. We have kids in our party and was great with them as well. Will definitely be back!
