Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered breakfast for myself & the kids (2 & 4). Bought the pancake platter with bacon for the kids to split. I was told the platter comes with 2 bacon, but I received a clump of bacon pieces instead. When I informed the manager of the mishap, I was informed “that how Whataburger bacon looks like”. She apparently thinks I’ve never eaten at a Whataburger before. She refused to make it right. Definitely avoid this Whataburger location!

The staff was super friendly and handled everything efficiently! Will be going to this location more often. Had a little mess up with my order but the short hispanic manager with the blonde hair immediately came to help me and had it fixed in a jiffy!

My first time visiting, I’m from NC and knew that I would have to try while in the area. I see now why it’s so popular and a staple. My order was taken by a nice gentlemen thay processed my order correctly. It wasn’t too much of wait. The food was hot and fresh. It’s definitely worth more visits!

I asked for extra sauce on the burger didn’t notice it had no extra sauce until I was home , in fact it was only a little bit & the patty tasted dried out/ it wasn’t really fresh like it had been cooked some time before , but the fact I had to wait for the order for about 5-8 minutes you would think it was fresh. I will try this location at a different time to see if it’s at all any better

I’m not certain what’s going on with this location. It’s 10:17 at night on a Wednesday & the drive thru has cones, blocking the entrance. The door has a sign stating the dining room is closed AND I was informed the dining room is closed. Yet they did answer the phone & say they’d bring out my order?! What’s really going on? It makes no sense. If the establishment is closed, list it as such instead. This makes no sense.

The food is always cold or either re-heated (dropped back in hot oil to appear “fresh”)
Going through the drive through started to give my family trouble . Ex. Forgetting meals ,drinks ,kids snacks etc.
So we starting utilizing the curbside pick up and ordering from the app. By far the worst decision we have made yet! Now they religiously forget my familys meals and have to send one of us back to pick up what they forgot. With the insane prices nowadays the standard for fast food needs to change. This location needs to slow it down and get it right.

Our food had a very obvious hair inside the burger on 11/13/25. We come here sometimes and haven’t had this issue. $15 meal (we spent more bc we got multiple orders) to drive home and find a hair INSIDE the burger is not cool. Please make sure cooks are wearing appropriate hair nets and hair tied back. This was gross and a waste of money for that order.

I ordered a #11 no tomato, substitute Mayo and add a slice of cheese, no one was in front of us in the line and no one entered behind us, they had us pull to the 3rd window anyway so we did, we wait and get our food, go park and I look at my sandwich and they had forgotten the slice of cheese I paid to have added, my husband was livid he pulled into one of the pick up slots and took the receipt and my food into the lobby, showed them the food with its missing slice of cheese and very small sad piece of lettuce, the girl at the counter looked at the food and receipt and fixed it. What is the point of a drive through window if you never get the order correct? Seems every time we attempt to give the one another chance they mess up one of our burger/sandwich.

Ordered several meals for my family. We did not fill up all our drink cups at the beginning. Began filling up a drink cup towards the end and a employee very rudely said, you can’t refill your cups and drink all our stuff. I had actually not even filled up one cup which I’m entitled to do so, having bought the meal. It seemed to me like they don’t want to serve the customer or do the work. Won’t be coming back here. It seems like they don’t want business.

Was late around midnight. Went through drive thru. Employees were very kind, seemed to enjoy doing their job doing their work getting paid is a great thing to see. I wish I had that. I got fries and a chocolate shake bc I found few dollars while cleaning. So I rewarded myself. Hot fries and yummy chocolate shake.
