Was visiting FWB and met my cousin there for dinner. We chose it because of the Acme restaurant in NOLA. This place did not disappoint. Our food came out hot and tasty. I loved the shrimp and the fried fish was very plentiful and flavorful. I wouldn’t hesitate to try it again during our next visit.

I ordered 12 oysters. They were freshly shucked and well presented and massive. I could not eat them all. I got 8 down and had to ask my wife to help with the remaining 4. The rest of the family had various fish platters and no one could finish. The portions were just really robust. We had the other halves the next night. Service was good (Cayenne? was our server) and the place was very clean. However the hostess used the restroom and didn’t wash her hands according to my daughter. The owner should fire her immediately. That was Thursday night, December 18, 2025, around 6:40 p.m. …Nasty.

I had such a great experience at this oyster’s spot! The food was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy seafood.

I have never had such delicious food in my whole entire life!!! It was seasoned to perfection. The food came out fast and at the perfect temperature. The service was impeccable. (Jackie is amazing.)
I usually don’t eat cocktail sauce but the one that came with fried crab leg appetizer was the perfect compliment. The sauce on the Fish Pontchartrian was creamy buttery deliciousness loaded with crab meat & the fish was fried to perfection. Veggies were divinely flavorful. Sweet tea tasted like a restful summer afternoon lounging by a lake–subtle refreshing experience with a hint of sweetness. 10/10

On Sunday night, I ordered the New Orleans medley. The jambalaya tasted burnt & the red beans with rice wasn’t seasoned.. the gumbo was AMAZING though!

On Monday night, I ordered the fried captain’s platter and the oyster, shrimp, & fish was fried to perfection. Even the sweet tea was good! Chicken wings were cooked just right also!
Mona Lisa was an amazing waitress and very pleasant. Riley made sure that we weren’t too cold in the area we sat in.

This is my second visit to this place in 2 years in Destin. I think it’s a great seafood place. Fried oysters with cheese, we order a double portion at once. Raw oysters are good, but they are washed with fresh water and there is no taste of the sea. Very tasty Jambalaya. We took a table outside, minus the table was not covered with a tablecloth and it’s a shame. After all, you have a nice terrace with a view of the pond.
