To look at this place from the outside, you would think it was a place to grab a burger and a beer. Boy were we wrong, we looked at the menu and thought it couldn’t be real. This is a gourmet restaurant on the beach.The food is outstanding. Fresh seafood is there forte, and we enjoyed the shrimp and crab cakes. The you-peel key west shrimp was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Our servers were prompt and friendly. The prices were about what you’d expect from a good restaurant.

I highly recommend the calamari for an appetizer. It was probably the best I had. Our entrees were very good as well. Due to clouds we were unable to see the sunset from our table but it was still a great view!

It’s a true casual beachside seafood restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The device was great. We even got the recipe for the salad dressing it was so delicious! It’s hard to choose what was better, the grouper shrimp cakes or the yellow snapper sandwich. Oh that’s right it was the key lime pie!!

The food was amazing. We ordered the muscles in the white sauce it was to die for! The fresh fish was so yummy and tender the sauces on both of our fish dishes were amazing! The food made me dance. It was so delicious and filling, I had the yellow snapper and my husband had the grouper. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and romantic we sat pretty much on the beach. This is our favorite restaurant in Key West hands down!

I rode the rental bike to Salute restaurant. I arrived around 11:00 AM to have more seating options.
I had the popular dessert named Key lime pie. The meringue is sky high, complimenting the outdoor beach scenery.

Random stop, and was so happy to stumble upon those place. Ordered the sautéed calimari with marinara – which was fantastic! Order it! It was super fresh, plentiful for the cost, and was perfectly satisfying. The marinara had a nice little spice that elevated the dish to the next level. I will definitely Salute this location, and when back in Key West, I will make this a hit!

We’ve gone here a couple times before and always loved it! This time I had a migraine so we got it to go. The calamari portions are half of what they normally are, we got fettuccine Alfredo one with just chicken and one with shrimp and chicken and the one with shrimp and chicken has hardly any chicken in it compared to the one with only chicken, as well as the portions for the pasta, being a lot smaller than when you eat at the restaurant. Stood for ten minutes waiting for the lady at the bar to ask us what we needed continuously walking passed us without so much as a “one moment please”. Paying $100 for this throw together food is very disheartening.

First time trying Salute on the beach and it was great! Nice beach view outdoor seating and atmosphere all around. Mark the Host was so friendly and fun, he’s the best! Jesus was our server and he also took great care of us! Literally everything we tried was soooooo delicious! The fresh bread they bring to the table started off our meal the right way…so fresh and tasty! You can tell the chef put a lot of thought into these menu items. You gotta try the calamari! Might be the best I ever had; it’s sautéed instead of breaded and has a spicy red sauce, we loved it! Make sure you get the key lime pie for dessert! Thanks for an awesome time!
