We love this Carrabbas! A huge menu that will please everyone in your group. Generous portions – save some for a snack tomorrow! Love the dishes cooked on the wood fired grill – wow. We are always so welcomed – the staff is attentive and seem genuinely happy to serve us. The manager, Lindsay, came by to make sure everyone in our group was satisfied – this is true hospitality.

We went there for my wife’s birthday a few days ago since my son loves the Lobster Ravioli. I ordered the a lasagne and it was actually inedible. I don’t know if somebody mistakenly used blue cheese instead of ricotta, but the flavor was awful. For staple Italian dish like lasagne, it’s a strong indicator to me of how well the restaurant’s kitchen performs. Two stars because the service was friendly and helpful, and my son enjoyed his ravioli.

The food was wonderful. It was hot and attractively served. The server was very good. He was helpful, familiar with the menu, and attentive. It is somewhat pricey. However, you do get plenty of food. It is easy to take leftovers home which do heat up well. Also, takeout containers were recyclable.

Never been to this location, but I will definitely be returning after my experience last night! Our server Anthony (aka Antony..lol) was phenomenal. He was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable of the menu (he made some great recommendations for us). This location is also just very cute and organized compared to others I’ve been to. Loved the Christmas decorations and the atmosphere here! Would 10/10 recommend this location over others in the area.

The food was delicious! We haven’t been to a Carrabba’s in years. It was just like we remember. The flavors are incredible. The service was spot on and very tentative. Sebastian was an amazing server and adorable too!

We have eaten here about half a dozen times over the past six years while traveling through. There is a clear and distinct difference in the food quality over the last four years in particular, with menu changes and a drop in the food overall. Frequently out of staple menu items, such as lasagna on our trip yesterday (my wife specifically went there for the lasagna). Years ago they had “the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had,” and those had changed as well and were nearly burned but entirely different from the ones they had years ago. They were out of ranch dressing and something else that we asked for (that I can’t remember at the moment).

The chicken Parmesan had no pasta noodles; I’ve never had chicken parmesan anywhere in my life that does not come with noodles. The chicken itself was burned around the edges and extremely thin and tough. Asparagus look like it had been microwaved and taste the same way.

For the prices that they charge you expect better. I don’t know why so many places frequently change menus. Just stick with what you know works.

The waiter was friendly but a little quirky. He tried to carry on too much conversation while we were trying to eat. That’s not a problem per se but most people don’t want to be bothered while they’re eating. My wife ended up getting a deconstructed lasagna that the waiter recommended which was ravioli basically. Neither one of us finished our meals or took the remainder home with us.

We were one of two tables filled in the spot at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. This location used to be one of our favorite places to eat while traveling through the Asheville area but I believe it was also our last.

From the moment I walked in, I was transported straight to Italy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting, rustic decor, and the gentle aroma of garlic and fresh herbs in the air.

I started with the Sicilian chicken soup, which was incredible. For the main course, the chicken parm which was absolute perfection—rich, creamy, and indulgent. Bread and fresh olive oil dipp was crisp and flavorful.

The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making excellent suggestions . And don’t even get me started on dessert which was on the house, a delicious brownie sundae.

Ali was my server, and was incredible. A real asset to the company. Megan, the FOH manager came over and introduced herself and educated me on wine pairing nights which I will be attending in the near future.

This place is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with heart and soul, this is it!

Keep up the great work!!

Today we visited the Arden, NC restaurant. I’m a long time Carrabas fan but it seems to be declining. We were a table of two in a fairly empty restaurant. We ordered an appetizer, it arrived. Before the bread that we had asked for, apparently the waitress can’t bring it, another employee does. (Salad was delicious ) we waited quite a while for our entrees, I ordered the Italian trio, after waiting so long you assume it will arrive hot. It arrived around room temperature to cold. Lasagna was especially cold. I asked for water, apparently they enter into a computer for someone else to bring? This never happened. I told the waitress who seemed petrified, she said a manager was coming. We waited… finally I asked for the bill, was told a manager” lindsay “ was addressing the issue. After boxing our cold food. We waited 15 more minutes, no “ lindsay”. I paid and left, it wasn’t busy, upon leaving I asked again for the managers name and was told 2 we’re on staff at that time, but neither could apparently help or cared to help? Very dissatisfying, disappointing experience , won’t be returning.

I came to get takeout. Had a pleasant experience with hostess and was invited to sit at the bar while waiting for my food.
Sebastian greeted me at the bar and we had a very nice conversation. I picked my long time favorites: pasta weesie and calamari. Came with a salad (I like the creamy parm) and lots of bread to go with the olive oil and herbs. It didn’t take long at all. I was treating myself while pet& housesitting nearby. So not only did I have delicious dinner but enjoying leftovers for lunch today! Thanks to everyone at the Rockwood Rd Carrabbas for a delightful experience especially Sebastian and thank you manager Ashley for doing great PR for the restaurant when I called to compliment the food and service. Keep up the good work !
