Very good service on my visit as of late (1/30) Patrick was an amazing server! Attending to my needs at a timely rate. Food was also awesome! Also saw the new bar, which looks great.

While traveling through Harrison Arkansas we decided to have a meal at Coltons Steakhouse. We were greeted by a hostess (the one with the septum piercing). She had to clean a booth b4 we could be seated. Now mind you they were not busy, tables could have already been cleaned as it was 3ish o’clock on a Sunday. She took our drink orders and brought us some rolls. Our waiter was a polite young man. We ordered a half rack of ribs and Hawaiian chicken. Let’s start with the chicken…it was a dried out piece of chicken that was saturated with teriyaki sauce…possibly in hopes of plumping up the chicken. Now onto the Ribs…absolutely the worst ribs I have ever tried to eat. They did not fall off the bone, in fact they were so tough even the steak knife had a hard time cutting through them. My steamed vegetables were sub par as the califlower had mold on it, and no seasonings.
To the young man who was our waiter, thank you for your service, I will give you 5 stars because you did your best with what you were provided by the kitchen staff.

Bread rolls and peanuts are complementary. Food had excellent flavor! We ordered the 3 piece BBQ plate and Chipotle chicken on a bed of rice. Also had the brownie with vanilla ice cream. Service was excellent!

Part of the restaurant was partitioned off due to some type of construction. Though there was no actual construction work being done while we were there. They ended up seating us right next to it. We specifically went to this location because we heard they had an ‘Alpha-gal safe’ menu, as I have Alpha-gal. In reality what they called a menu was just a list of proteins an a few salads. No formal menu listing with descriptions or even prices. Unless you ordered a salad with either grilled fish, chicken or shrimp on it you really couldn’t get a complete dinner. They have steamed veggies, but they are made with butter. If you want a baked potato you’d have to eat it plain because they don’t have plant butter. Asked if I could walk next door to the grocery and buy plant butter so I could eat a baked potato but I was told they have a policy against bringing in any outside food. The rice has butter, and they do not have a dedicated fryer, so French fries, the fried green beans, or the fried onion appetizers are not safe options either. I ended up getting a garden salad without cheese or croutons, added some boiled eggs and a plain grilled chicken breast, which was very dry and hard to choke down.
My husband, who can eat a regular diet ordered a medium well steak, some fries and a side salad. He Saud the side salad was good, but tge steak was more than well done, dry and tough. He choked it down because we hadn’t eaten all day and were pretty hungry. Oh and he said his steak was barely luke warm. The steak fries were nothing to write home about. I had an unsweetened tea and hubby had a frozen margarita,, which he said was pretty watered down. It wasn’t a hot day, the outside temp was high 70’s, but the the frozen drink was pretty watery upon arrival to the table. Our tab was $50ish. We left full, but a disappointed full. Not in a hurry to drive 2 hours each way to experience that again. There are Coltons closer to us, but again we specifically went there because that location supposedly caters to people with Alpha-gal. A person with Alpha-gal could scrounge up some food their, but not a wholesome meal! With some simple changes, they could have actually Alpha-gal safe options for their customers…if they really wanted to.

Had very limited time for lunch and asked to make it quick. Not only did Patrick make sure my order was sent out fast, the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. This was the best service I’ve ever received.

Steaks were gristly and too tough to cut. Our nice waiter Jaxon replaced them for us but we were done eating, so we took them home. Salad, fried okra and green beans were good. Grilled shrimp was tasteless. Rolls were ok. If you think you’re getting a “Texas Roadhouse” experience at Colton’s… you are not. But it was ok.

Whoever your cook was today a noon time (I forgot to ask) was the best. He fixed my steak perfectly. I honestly have never had a steak taste like I did today. Yall need to keep that cook. We use to go all the time and loved it. But stopped going for awhile cause nobody could fix it right. Not sure if the cook was different then or what. But the one that fixed it today, I can still taste the savoriness of it. It was so tasty and so tender I could cut it with my fork.

Harrison AR location. We visited Saturday evening. I ordered a plate that included one side. Waitress said it comes with 2. I pointed out it said one but she said you get 2 so I said I’ll take a salad then. Husband ordered and she said you get 2 so he ordered 2. Country fried steak with a choice of white gravy or mushroom brown gravy. He ordered the later. When it came there was white gravy on the steak and a thing of mushroom gravy on the side. You can’t exactly mix the 2 but he didn’t say anything, he just ate it with the white gravy. Bill came and after he gave them his card noticed they charged us for the salad and the mushroom gravy. Called the waitress over and said you are the one that said it comes with 2 sides and the mushroom gravy was the choice of gravy (husband only got one of his sides) She came back a little later all apologetic and said the manager didn’t have time to fix it but she would issue us a credit later. Well here we are 3 days later and that credit has never appeared.

Always a treat to eat here since we have lost 2 in our area.
Last time here I had the grilled chicken on pilaf rice with broccoli.
So u decided to have the same this time.
Not good.
Chicken was tough, hard to cut. Rice was a white rice with peppers. Didn’t like it.
Vegetables of cauliflower and broccoli was not done they were crunchy. The carrots were like rubber.
But our waiter was great, the onion Tanglers were awesome.
Bread is always good

Normally Colton’s Steakhouse is really good for dine-in but takeout yesterday, not so much. I placed an order online about 5:30 for a 6:00 pickup. I arrived at the restaurant at 5:55, the food was ready so no problem there. It’s about a 5 minute drive back to the house and immediately opened the containers to eat. The food was ice cold. I ordered two of the sirloin tip dinners and the photo below shows one of what was in the bag. These dinners were about $16 each….how disappointing. I won’t be using their take out service in the future.
