DiOrio’s Pizza & Pub is a great spot, especially for pizza lovers. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with a bar-like setup that makes it a good place to hang out and enjoy a meal. My only minor complaint is the one broken TV—it’s not a huge deal, but if they fixed it, the vibe would be even better.
Service-wise, our waiter was excellent. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us through the different pizza options. The variety here is impressive, with something to satisfy just about any taste. One thing to note is that the pizzas and slices are massive, so definitely come with an appetite or plan to take some home.
The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall experience. While there was a bit of a wait for our food, it was absolutely worth it. When it arrived, everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The flavors were great, and the quality of ingredients was evident.
Overall, DiOrio’s delivers a solid pizza experience with a cool atmosphere, great service, and a menu full of tasty options. If they can get that TV fixed, the place would be even better. I traveled quite tge detour, been to this location before and it was ok and the Baxter location and Baxter was EXCELLENT.
This time at Wallace , it was terrible, tasted warmed up. The server said Baxter may have a better dough.

Love the one closer to my home in Prospect. Barely any patrons at this location on a Friday, which should have been telling. Bartender, who I’m assuming was supposed to be gone already, started us off with drinks. Then, another employee took over. He was heard saying how much he didn’t want to be there and wanted to leave early. Cool. Food was good as always, but felt like my table was more of a task than a guest. I’ll just stick to River Rd location going forward.

I’ve eaten at DiOrio’s several times and always enjoyed the food and service. They sell made to order large pizza slices with ingredients you select – slice is adequate size and made fresh and delicious. Often, I order the hot brown pizza slice; it’s a wonderful taste twist on a Louisville tradition – the Hot Brown. Tonight, I ordered the lasagna with salad and garlic toast, and I can tell you I will be ordering it again – very soon! The lasagna was mouth watering and exceptionally tasty with a perfect balance of ingredients for my preference. My friend ordered the same and was also impressed by the quality and taste. Every time I’ve been there many others are there and seeming to also enjoy the delicious food and friendly service …and if you need to keep up with a sports event, tvs are on the walls and above the bar. DiOrio’s is a Louisville area casual dining treasure!

DiOrio’s was recommended to me , and I’m so glad they did. I had the “Little Piggy” specialty pizza, and it was loaded with meat. I called in my order and they were very professional and descriptive. My pizza was hot and ready in about 15 minutes. I’ll definitely be back.

When we order pies to work during the week the pizza is fresh big cheesy slices.When we place same order delivery to my home on friday or weekends the pies are thin , less cheese, & completely different texture & different. Not sure why, ive emailed Diorios asking but was ignored.almost seems like on the phone they DISLIKE my family buying their pizza and asking for delivery.its very strange.been eating their pizza for years and this started about 6 months ago. Its as if they know we are loyal customers so when we order to delivery to our home its a very inconsistent and mediocre made pie.but When i order 5 pies for my crew at work for the past years, those are always perfectly made. It has become extremely frustrating.wish they would make the SAME pie consistent for every order. When we place order from home for delivery the pies have gotten worse and worse.last time i actually shocked because the pizza was soggy, thin , and unlike anything ive ever received from them.whoever is making the pies on late friday , weekends, is hurting your business.

Loved the sweet and heat pizza. However the jalapeños are pickled (I think) which gives it a very acidic- vinegar flavor instead of good jalapeño flavor. Which made parts heavily covered in jalapeños taste like vinegar infused jalapeños. Not the worst but not ideal I guess. I think it would taste better with fresh jalapeños vice jar or canned pickled ones. The crust is also not the greatest but the pizza had lots of cheese and toppings which make it delicious and easy to enjoy. Even one slice of the gibbon size was filling enough for lunch.

We ordered food online. And thought it was through Di’Orios, and ended up getting an overcooked, wrong made pizza. When we called and spoke to the manager – it was a problem because the order does not cross over and show what we ordered- nor could they find a ticket from the past hour. $83 later- our pizza is wrong, overcooked… and the only option to make it right is to come pick up a pizza… now, when delivery has already been paid. Never again. Online. When ordering make sure it’s not on delivery.com- because they can not correct the wrong.
