I’ve been here TWICE in the past month and BOTH times my child has found HAIR in her shake. There is no number to call, sent an email on their corporate site (no response) and the employees don’t seem to care! DHEC Needs to get in here ASAP if there is hair in the ice cream there’s no telling what else is filthy.

Freezing inside like the heater wouldn’t work. Took 30 minutes to get our food. Taste was ok but portions were kid meal size. Staff moved like zombies. Shakes were good.

Can’t get orders right. Should be shut down. Will tell everybody not to go there unless they want the wrong order. This will go several platforms. Do not recommend. Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere but cook out. Would leave more negative reviews if it would let me. Entire chain should be shut down.

It was the normal kind of busy for cookout on a Sunday, but I was highly disappointed in the amount of food in my tray, I only had about 7 fries in there, and I didn’t notice until I got home that they had put my milkshake inside another cup, when I went to pull the other cup out I realized they had busted a hole in the first cup. There was styrofoam in my milkshake and almost half the cup was just straight up peanut butter.
They were lucky a kid didn’t get that shake with styrofoam in it, they could’ve easily choked! Won’t be back.

The chicken sandwich was very good and the cashier was friendly enough. My issue was with the misleading price (sign says 4.99 for a “club style” but I was charged $4.85 + .99 for “club style.) (see receipt.) Furthermore, my daughter got a “double” side of cheddar bites, but it hardly double (see picture). If a restaurant like this wants to compete with the “big boys” they need to do better, IMO.

It’s funny how they send the same pathetic apology to everyone. I don’t believe they even read half of the reviews, just an automated response…The food is okay but it’s not worth the price you pay especially considering they’ve gone up like everybody else. I’ve had Fair service but I’ve never had good service. And I’m not sure why they put atmosphere on here because there is no atmosphere, not one worth talking about.. the only thing I’ll go there for and I’ve stopped doing that was the shakes. And even that’s not worth it anymore. 10 years ago fast food was still fairly good but now they hire these children that don’t even want to work, and don’t really have any respect. Not a big fan but I guess you just have to find out yourself

This location has absolutely gone down hill. Over the past 6 months each time I have gone back has gotten worse and worse. Constantly incorrect or missing items. The last time I went (less than a month ago), I ordered a double order of okra, got down the road and started eating, and they were completely raw and uncooked inside. I turned around and drove ten minutes back for them to remake it, just for those to also be raw and undercooked. I let it go as maybe there were new people training and just an honest mess up.
NO. Here I am tonight ordered a junior tray with okra as a side, there were less then ten pieces of okra in my order and more then half were RAW, once again. On top of this I had to ask the man at the register twice a question about my order only for him to ignore me the first time, and offer no clarification or really much acknowledgment at all. He was acting like he was high and confused.

I’ll have to say that when I do eat here, it’s occasionally. However, this location did a great job with service and quality. Have gone back several times since 1st review. Food has gone downhill.

This was my first trip to Cook Out. When you walk in, you’re greeted with a super fun cabin interior and the smells of open flame cooking. The family ordered a slew of different options to allow us to get a change to taste many different menu options. We were not let down! The burgers and fries were delicious! There are tons of different things to choose from. Something for everyone! The price points were reasonable and you can make a meal that’s ten times as delicious as other fast food for the same price! Definitely a must try! And the peanut butter shakes were the bomb! Super thick and super delicious!
