We started going to Side Street in 2006.
We went kind of often. And more recently here and there.
This last time pizza was not as flavorful. No taste to dough like used to be. Crust not cooked as well. When the pizza arrived at the table didn’t really look like “wow” looks and smells great! Nope. Not this time sorry to say.
The table we were seated at had good garbage on seat. And table had pieces of food. The legs were steady but table itself rocked.
Honestly, the place needs a refreshing with paint and cleaning. Windows disgusting. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Oh dear!

Spectacular food, outstanding atmosphere, attentive staff.
Sidestreet stands up to its reputation as one of the most dependable restaurants around. Everything they have is great, so you can’t go wrong.
For cocktails, we both got Pomegranate Mules. They were very tasty. My father thought it was strong on the pour, but I thought it was wonderful.
Our starter salads were very fresh and tasted great.
I ordered Chicken Parmesean, which was delicious. My father ordered the Cheeseburger Pizza, which was exceptionally good. We will definitely be back for that!
The portions are very generous. We both had a lot of leftovers. A huge amount of food for the price.
And for dessert we ordered the Tiramisu. It was a great way to finish off an already incredible meal!
I highly recommend Sidestreet Pizza to anyone and everyone. It’s just too good to go anywhere else!

The Sicilian Deluxe pizza was delicious. The service was excellent. They were doing a tremendous amount of takeout business while we were eating. Take a minute to check out their quaint/intimate bar in the back. We will be back to try out more of their menu.

I am visiting the area and searched the Internet for a local pizza place. I called my order in. The girl who answered the phone was very pleasant. Unfortunately they don’t have Calzones, so I had to order a pizza. I could tell this restaurant is a local favorite. All sit down patrons must park in the back (I believe the sign said after 3pm) and if you are picking up an order they come out to your car to grab your payment and bring your food. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the 6 piece mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were really good and so was the marinera sauce. The pepperoni pizza was okay. I felt it could have had a little more sauce. All in all, I do recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re looking for a local favorite.

I was recommended to try Sidestreet Pizza by a family member, and it did not disappoint. The pizza shop is a small but charming building located in the NC mountains.
I ordered three separate pizzas to go: pepperoni and mushroom, heart stopper, and deluxe. The amount of time it took to bake the pizza was reasonable. In fact, it was piping hot and flavorful hours after ordering. Pizza when hot in general is good. Sidestreet Pizza is even better when reheated, down to the crust. The next time I’m in town, we will sit and stay. I highly recommend!

Everything tasted great! We stopped by to celebrate my moms birthday. We all ordered a small salad and a small personal pizza. We got the rotating appetizer – the fried Buffalo cauliflower bites. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our food came out very quickly and the staff were absolutely wonderful. There is a lot of variety and so many delicious sounding menu items. It would be hard to not be able to find something to eat, even for those that are picky.

Amazing! You will return. The pizza is worth the drive. Even if you get the salmon at a pizza place. WOW! They give you more than enough. Friendly staff! High 5! Kept my tumbler full with drink too. I didn’t even have to ask for a takeout box. They have their act together. It is officially my favorite pizza. Congrats!
