Great family steak house where everyone has options to satisfy their taste buds. We took my Dad and 2 Daughters, enjoyed some live music they had that night. The atmosphere is pleasent, they’ve updated the decore since it was McClintock’s just the right amount where it feels fresh and their own, but also maintained the similar ranch steak house vibe. The entire Crew were very nice, helpful and super on it. We’re so glad Vix opened up and can’t wait to return soon!

Otto’s Train Patrol
So thrilled that Victor has opened his new restaurant in Arroyo Grande. We missed his amazing food and are happy to report that his menu is fantastic. We started with the steak bites and french fries for the appetizer. The steak bites were juicy and well seasoned. The fries were crispy and flavorful. I added a side of his famous chimichurri for dipping my fries and I was not disappointed. We moved on to the sirloin steak with mac and cheese for one entree. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese was given a double thumbs up from a picky teenager. The bacon crumble on top was genius. The pork ribs were tender and the buttery rice pilaf was amazing. I was able to fit in a few bites of beans and bread (don’t miss out!). The beans were some of the best I’ve had on the central coast, if not the best. Sadly, we were so full we couldn’t have dessert, but watched jealously as our neighbors devoured the chocolate mousse cake and raspberry cheesecake. I highly recommend it!!! Five stars!!! We will be back soon.

Stopped by Vix Creek Saloon tonight and had a great time. The place has a super chill vibe—felt really welcoming right off the bat. Staff was friendly, and the whole atmosphere just felt like a good time.
I ordered the steak, ribs, and shrimp combo and it was fantastic! Steak came out perfectly medium rare, just the way I like it. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Whether you’re grabbing a beer with friends or just want a solid meal, Vix Creek is the move.

The experience was great. We could tell the restaurant is just getting started and working out some soft opening kinks. That being said… the food was delicious and the portions were big. One small critique we had was that the entrees were hot while the sides were warm to cool. Flavors were spot on and we look forward to coming back as the service was amazing. Had the country fried steak and eggs… real hand-breaded ribeye, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with homemade gravy that was perfect. The one waitress running the show was awesome, friendly, fast, and on top of everything. Great food, great vibe absolutely worth the stop! I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!

Everything I ordered was amazing. I went on a whim with my mom cause we wanted to try something new and we’re hoping we’d even be able to get a seat. They seated us as soon as we walked in, our waitress was fantastic! The food was so amazing, we were both blown away at literally everything lol the salad, the baked potatoes, the steak and the cheesecake was perfect!
