My all-time favorite Hibachi restaurant! Been with them since the old building. Admittedly, the service varies as employees come/go, and the food is rather consistent, but of course also varies some as cooks come/go. Parking is always kind of a headache, and the waiting area is painfully small. Despite all this it’s always such a treat, and I always look forward to my next visit!

Well this place is not what it used to be. It was much better when they first opened. Last few times we been food is bland not much flavor. And they drag the cook on so food is cool when the meat it finely complete. The I get they joke but my niece went to the bathroom while there and he want to ask if she pooped and remembered to wipe. Like not sure if id go there. Won’t be back. Then the one cook smokes the entire place out because his hood was off.

We have been to this restaurant many times before and it was wonderful.
This time the food was bad. The rice was cold the chicken was like a rubber the steak was tough as well. The soup was just warm. Pretty sure we’re not coming back for a while.

Was just there to celebrate my birthday this Fri. Feb 27 2026 First let me say I have been to all three Habachi Japans..long ago when it was in The Valley, Down town Cuyahoga Falls and now here…The cleanliness of the place is a disaster..just linger a bit in the lobby and look up at the lights and wires holding them..hanging with clumps of dust…now over to the wall behind the desk and the wall and windows..dust that even when you try to brush it off still sticks to the wall…we were seated, a party of nine our forks were discolored and smeary.. half of us had to return for a second one hoping for better results. The table around us and the chair seats has such a build up from the fire, ,oil and products that if you put your arms on the table you got stuck…the salad now is in the smallest bowl I ever seen. Maybe the Chef thought it to be funny but when he asked “What are we celebrating and my family said..her birthday..he looked at me and said…What is it ? Your ninetyth… I was appalled and then wanted to fist pump…food so so…always the rice and vegetables are cold by the time the meat is cooked.. for the price they charge they need to do better…starting off with closing and doing a entire cleaning of the place..mabe replacing a few chairs as mine was so wobbly I wasn’t sure I would make it through the night..and NO I’m not a heavy person…Sad to say when my family told me where we were going for dinner to celebrate I was not excited.

This was the second time we’ve been to this restaurant. Our waiter was very good and our chef was entertaining. The food was tasty (steak and salmon). The hostess was another story. Beyond rude for no reason! After reading the other reviews it seems like a consistent problem others have experienced. For this reason I don’t think we’ll be back. If I could rate the hostess I give her 1 star for sure. She didn’t ruin our night but she tried. Sad!

Our biggest issue with this place: it was dirty. Layers of grease and dust on everything which is not what you want in a place that you’re eating. The food was way too salty and also overdone, lacking any nuance and composition. It’s a chain and it shows. It’s a “packaged experience.” The chef was humorous and did his best, not his fault as he’s just a cog in their machine. Save your money and go somewhere better for your birthday or anniversary.

We were a large group and had some great food and cocktails. My medium rare steak came out great. I love that they put this mixture of seeds on the rice and veggies. Our servers were great and attentive. They added 20% gratuity to our check and 2.9% for administrative fee… I wasn’t expecting the extra fees

The service by Reed was great. The entertaining Hibachi chef was very good. The meat was very tender and well cooked. We did have a long wait as it was Mother’s day and Prom night too.

Dont go here. Travelling from out of town and with an elderly parent and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner. Made a priority reservation and asked about how busy it might be and received nothing but attitude. Followed up on our arrival with 90 minutes before our “reservation” and asked if it looked busy and received the same attitude saying “we’ll tell you when you arrive”. Not sure why the woman answering the phone feels the need to be this way but we decided to go someplace else with people who are kind and courteous.
No way the food is worth the attitude. And by the reviews this place will soon be out of business due to nastiness of the hostess. Good luck!
