My husband & I come here the night before Valentine’s Day! We have a great dinner, great drinks & a great time! The waitress was fantastic, earned every bit of her tip that night from us! 10/10 would recommend but maybe on a less busy day and time for us! Just a little loud (but ofc cause it was Friday night so we understood, only night we had kids free or would’ve chosen a different evening).

I spontaneously stopped here at 6:35pm on a Sunday while traveling home. I was wanted t something to end and decided I wanted tacos but not from Taco Bell. I saw this restaurant on a the highway food sign.

Walking in, it said you can seat yourself. They have the list of daily specials posted as well. I was greeting after standing in the foyer area for a minute.

The cashier was very friendly. I was presented a menu. They also have quesabrilla tacos that isn’t listed on the menu. I ordered traditional asada tacos combo with rice and beans on flour tortillas. My order was placed at 6:43pm. I got it to go. I was told I could sit as it would be about 10 minutes. It looked pretty busy inside.

I got my food at 6:55pm but it was really ready several minutes before as I saw someone being it and another order and place it on a pick up area.

When I go to the car, I opened everything to check before leaving. I noticed they put the cilantro and onions in a container vs on the tacos. At first, I was confused but then I could see the reason for it. The rice and beans were together in another container. I was given chips and salsa.

I put the cilantro and onions on my tacos before heading the road. The asada was average. It was warm in temperature and didn’t give me the grilled steak taste that i love have had at Kroger places. The rice and beans was also average. I only ate about 5 chips because I wasnt that hungry and they weren’t the best.

My meal was $17 after tax, which I would say is average for 3 tacos, rice, and beans. It fulfilled my desire for tacos but not up to my standards for asada.

My family and I recently enjoyed dinner at El Jinete, just after visiting La vaquita.

The tacos were good, featuring delicious fillings and served on soft, pliable tortillas, just as they should be! I love the Rib-eye with salsa verde! (Spicy )

Seen a diverse crowd enjoying the authentic Mexican cuisine. It’s a testament to the popularity of Mexican food in America.

Excellent service BTW.

Nice restaurant right off the interstate. The decor and atmosphere was visually pleasing. The menu was decently priced and the food was great! Easy entry back on the interstate. Clean. If we are in the area again we would definitely stop again.

This place is “ok”. As far as customer service goes they are a 10 out of 10, and if the review was based soley on that they’d get 5 stars. However never had i been to a mexican restaurant where you have to pay for a side of salsa (like an expensive version McDonalds dipping sauce). Also, unless you’ve already tried it, do NOT order the Camarones a la Diabla because I have no idea who came up with that lazy over priced version, but it is definitely not what the traditional plate looks like, the sauce was completely wrong, huge disappointment. The shredded chicken is pretty good, and their burritos are also pretty good and you won’t regret your money spent on those.

Delicious, authentic, Mexican food. Right down the street from one of the best flea markets in Georgia, this place was amazing! The guacamole was on point, as were the tacos. Our server ran eight tables like we were the only one there.

Food was delicious with a variety of hot sauces for your taste buds. Loved the tacos and the margaritas!!! (Although margaritas were a bit pricey)

The food was fantastic and their staff is even better. They’ve got great daily food and alcohol specials. The portions are huge. Also, the menu is really diverse with some great, more authentic Mexican options like birria, along with the tried and true classics. We will definitely be back!
